Phantom is relaxing on the shores of Soldaer and Nia's lake in his dragon form, splashing his claws in it every now and then.
Gwen waves to them before levitating over
Phantom smiles, and waves one of his wings as they come closer.
"Hi, how goes it?" Gwen says, lying down next to them
"It goes well. Enjoying some peace and quiet here."
"Agreed... I wonder when Soldaer and Nia will get back." They state aloud, "Where even are they?" She adds, clearly leading the conversation down a certain path
Phantom turns to her. They took E to their homeworld. That entity up there, He gestures to the massive dragon/bug/squid thing in the sky. is hunting E, although I'm not sure why.
"Interesting, so they traveled with out permission from their parents." She thinks aloud, laying down the principles of something. "But of course, that is fine since they are all reasonable people with them having adults to guild them, right?"
He chuckles. "They didn't need permission. They are adults, and can go where they please."
"Exactly. Now, hypothetically if someone like... your daugther, just choosing randomly here, were to want to go to Sigil, how old must their chaperone be so that you would allow them to go?"
Phantom grins. "You're asking to take Lumen on a trip to Sigil, aren't you?"
"Me? No! Well... maybe but you can't prove that. We are purely operating in the hypothetical here." Gwen counters, feighning shock. "Whether or not I offered to take her to Sigil to go book shopping with me to raise her spirits after she got jealous of me talking to her brother which caused her to think that I liked him more then her is not important to the conversation at hand!" She adds, in the most dramatic and dismissing voice she can muster
Phantom roars in laughter, scaring some birds out of the trees in the area. "Well, supposing this is all hypothetical..." He says with a wink, "the chaperone would need to be old enough, and skilled enough, to protect her from anything that may try and hurt her."
"Sure. And this person would have to be... say about 20% older then the normal age of majority in their species and be a planeshifter so they can get home. Would you agree to said proposition?" They say, grinning from ear to ear with Phantom
"I'd say 30-35% older..." He says chuckling.
Gwen frowns at this. "Mmm... how about we settle for say 750 years older then the age of reason?" She counters, trying to bargin
Phantom chuckles. "That...may be agreeable..." He says with a grin and a wink.
"Okay... May I ask you a second question now? This one isn't a hypothetical." She says, with another wink
"Can you take my daughter to Sigil...?" He says, chuckling.
"How did you know?" They say, feigning shock
Phantom laughs. "I know my way around the language...I used that same style of logic so many times myself when I was younger."
"Oh... Well anyway, can I? I am over 750 years older then the age of reason for half elves."
He chuckles again. "And what about your combat abilities, and your ability to protect my daughter? That is my only concern."
