"Still, you aren't getting it. And as for how I know your name, you'd be surprised how easy it is to hear things like that here." He chuckles.
"Are you mocking me?" Caiman taps his glaive against the ground, twice. "I don't remember something being funny enough to laugh at."
His expression hardens suddenly. "No. I don't mock anyone, servant of Zariel." He stands taller, seeming to grow in height right before Caiman's eyes, soon towering to nearly 7 feet. "And put your glaive away before you do something you will shortly regret." He says, his tone icy.
Caiman stares him down fearlessly. "You can't hurt me here. And you can't fool me either. You are a celestial, a powerful one, and I will take you down. If not today, then someday."
Never will you be strong enough, His voice booms in Caiman's head, holding far more power than even a Solar's does. "I. Am. No. Angel!" He growls as his eyes flash with the intensity of the sun. "I am Elendon Starguide, Patron God of Adventurers, General of the Angelic Armies. Even your master, Zariel, would die in seconds against me." The way he says it, so casually and coolly, is unnerving.
"I'm Reuben. I know that much... I'm nineteen, as of last month... and I know how to use my weapons. Perhaps I was some sort of warrior?"
"You certainly look like some kind of military officer. I did a stint in military service myself, before promotion to what basically amounts to special ops."
"Is that what you do now?"
"Yes as a matter of fact. They're a good bunch, and fight for a great cause. Perhaps you and i once fought together?"
"Perhaps. But you would have recognized me, wouldn't you?"
"Perhaps not. The armies of the Hells are large, with many generals and countless officers."
"Hell? That... doesn't seem like the cause I served."

All stars fade. Some stars forever fall. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Homebrew (Mostly Outdated):Magic Items,Monsters,Spells,Subclasses ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If there was no light, people wouldn't fear the dark.
A young man walks into the tavern, dressed in an extravagant outfit of blue and red that looks like it's fit for some renowned general or king heading to war. An elegant sword hangs at his waist, and a golden shield shaped vaguely like a star is slung across his back. But the most curious detail about him is the black blindfold wrapped around his upper face, covered partially by stark white hair almost exactly the same color as Crystal's.
Outside, he'd have noticed Reirlin, a powerfully built Aasimar paladin, easily taking on three separate animated targets at the same time. He's wielding a brilliantly glowing longsword with a shield somewhat reminiscent of eagle wings, and wearing highly ornate and decorated splint armor.
He looks like he's about to say something, then frowns in confusion and walks inside.
Reirlin notices this, and expertly dispatches the three targets. He straps the shield on his back and slides the longsword into its ornate sheath on his left hip, before following the newcomer inside.
The young man- boy, really; he can't be more than eighteen- spins around quickly. "I'm sorry, I didn't notice you behind me. Do you want something?"
He smiles slightly. (Reirlin only looks to be about 23 or so). "You looked like you wanted to say something to me." He says in a rather deep, commanding voice, but with a rather friendly tone, his gold eyes shining.
"I did? I'm sorry, I might have just been thinking. I guess I just didn't notice you were there." He motions to the blindfold.
He chuckles. "Fair enough. I am Rierlin, Captain of the Guardians of the Peace. Welcome to the Tavern at the End of the World."
"Interesting name. The Tavern's- not yours. Nice to meet you, Rierlin."
"And you as well. I'm afraid I don't know your name yet, though."
"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't introduce myself. I'm Reuben."
"Pleasure to meet you Reuben. What brings you here? You obviously look like some form of nobility or high-ranked soldier."
"Am I? I can't tell what I look like."
He chuckles. "Allow me then." He gently rests a finger on each of Reuben's temples and projects an image of what Reuben looks like in his mind.
"...Interesting. It almost hurts... seeing."
Reirlin pulls his hands back. "I could try and heal you of your blindness if you wanted, but if that hurt, I'd guess that you'd rather me not."
"If you'd like to try, you can. But as far as I know, I've always had it. Given that, can it even be called curing?"
He smiles. "Not a curing, but a healing. There is a difference, Reuben."
"I'm not sure... I seem to have forgotten my life before I walked in here."
"I'm no expert on healing the mind, but there may be natural ways to jog your memory. Do you remember anything at all, besides your name?"
"I know my age, and how to fight... but nothing else."
"Do you know magic? Or your last name?"
"Magic? I don't believe so." He thinks for a second. "I don't remember my family, either. Or their name."

Elendon is sitting on the roof, seemingly oblivious to Caiman. His wings are visible, as is his crown, albeit rather faintly, almost as though it isn't even there.
Caiman approaches from behind, tapping his glaive on the ground. "Why the hell are there so many angels here.."
This elicits a laugh from Elendon, who stands and turns to face him, extremely ornate bladed and ridged armor seeming to coalesce around him, a pair of long, curved swords on his hips, and powerful blackened bow on his back. A royal blue cloak with the emblem of a dragon on it completes his ensemble. "I'm no angel, Caiman." He says, as his eyes flash briefly, and his crown become fully visible for a split second.

"One day I will slay the angelic armies, crush the demon menace beneath my boot, and when I am done destroying the kingdoms of my enemies, I will take on the gods and I will win." Caiman narrowed his eyes. "You may be stronger than me, tens of thousands of times stronger than me, but one day I will match you in power. And that day-" He points his glaive. "Will be your doom."
