*uhhhhhh, roll a straight d20 and whichever side is higher wins out? I'm um... not sure. Here, this is the staight description: Any creature charmed by you automatically fails its saving throw against the Command you cast with this feature.*
*It is usually ruled that LR succeeds no matter what, but that is my two cents*
*Well, from what i understand, lr activates when a creatures fails a save. Now we can argue about the wording, but this ability removes the save entirely (Although it does say it auto fails the save so lr could still activate)*
*Alright...confusing rules, so usually just rule on the side of caution, which in this case would be on the side of LR working.*
She furrows her brow. "Mmmm, no." She says with a grin. You may have charmed me, and yes, I'm starting to realize that, because I barely resisted that, but I'm still a dragon. Don't forget that. Her eyes flare and seem to crackle with electricity for a second.
"Thank you for stating it easier for me tallia," he says, basically saying that he was just testing if this was tallia or if the dragon was simply taking her form for the moment
She growls, and vanishes from in front of him, reappearing briefly about 30 feet away before diving deeper into an underwater chasm.
*In a lake??*
He peers down into the chasm for a moment, the same calm smile on his face
*Why not? There are some big lakes in the real world that go EXTREMELY deep. Lake Tanganika and Lake Baikal come to mind for that.*
I can stay down here forever. You rely on spells. She says with a chuckle.
*Fair enough* *Also, she actually wouldn't notice she's charmed*
Why would you? Are you embarresed about this situation?
After you trying to command me? Yeah, no, not embarrassed, but you aren't coming close to me again.
*Insert me not understanding the rules enough to know if people notice that enchantment spells fail on them*
Aw, does that mean you no longer like me. Despite the wording he honestly sounds calm
*I'd think they would, especially in the case of a creature using LR to succeed against it.*
Silence. Everything is calm. Almost too calm.
*Fair, though lr is inherent while la is activated*
Kieran just sits on the edge of the abyss, staring into it
There's nothing. No sign of movement, no light from her eyes...nothing.
After a few moments, kieran closes his eyes, listening to the nothingness around him.
*She's literally going to stay down there until he leaves...because she can, and he literally CANNOT outlast her.*
*You severly underestimate how easily he can keep doing this. He is also almost completely dormant*
*Still needs to eventually take a long rest to refesh spells...at which point the spell would fail because he's not maintaining concentration, and he'd drown.*
*But I also have other ways for her to get out of this...remember, dragons can shapechange ;)*
An hour or so later, a school of fish swim up out of the ravine swimming around him, and then darting away. Each fish seems to choose a different path through the lake. Some sticking along the bottom, others heading towards the surface, and some going towards the shore.
*Except, warlock >:3*
*true*
As the school of fish swim around him, he extends the bubble of air enough to envelope the school aswell, this taking about a second total
As the bubble expands, he only manages to catch about half of the school, the rest darting off extremely fast, scattering in every direction.
*And remember, can't shift into a swarm or school, so she's only one of the fish, but after nearly 500 years as an oceanic dragon, she knows how to act like a fish if needed. ;)*
*That is if she actually left, though i'm guessing she did.*
He doesn't move after the remaining fish, just sitting there
After a minute or so of flopping around, the fish he captured die unless he releases them. At a similar point, and as far away from him as possible, one of the fish leaps out of the water and shifts into an eagle, flying off.
*amazing stealth lol*
At some point in the future (Imma go with another hour), he leaves the lake, still completely dry
*Not necessarily stealth so much as knowing how fish act, and simply having a high dex and reflexes from that form.*

Kieran enters the tavern after having left the lake, humming to himself as he walks to an empty table
Avery, now having finished his sandwich, goes about his normal business, sometimes heading up into the rafters to hang upside down
After a few minutes, a familiar (to him, and not in a good way) walks into the tavern, a feathered serpent wrapped around his neck. Egrien sits down at the bar, ordering a mug of pale ale. He seems a bit calmer than the last time Avery met him.

*Btw, what happened the last time they'd met?*
Avery moves in the rafters until he's directly over egrien, before dropping an apple onto the bar
Tallia is deep under the surface of the lake in her dragon form, swimming.
Ash sits by the lake, watching the lake's surface, trying to calm down
What is wrong, Ash? Tallia asks in her mind
I... wanted to talk to someone who wasn't my family. That, and I would............... like to learn some magic
She pokes her head up out of the water, still in dragon form, smiling faintly. "Family drama?"
They nod slowly. "More like I don't want to... irritate them."
She nods slowly, and swims over next to Ash.
"Wait, I'm not interrupting anything, right?" She says, scooting a bit away from shore
She chuckles. "No, no you weren't, Ash."
They let out a sigh. "Good... um... want me to ride you or something?"
She laughs. "I will let you ride me, if you want, but you don't need to."
"Um... What else do you suggest for me to do?"
She shrugs. "I don't know, Ash. I...don't have much experience with family."
"Um... Then I guess I will ride you then. If we are diving, then I will sadly have to hold my breath. I can't cast water breathing right now."
She chuckles. "I can cast it. One of my innate spells, actually."
"Oh... Um... May you?"
She grins, and gently taps her with the tip of her tail, her eyes glowing brightly for a second. "Done. Now," she curls her tail in such a way that it forms a sort of staircase up onto her back, "climb on."
They nod doing so. "Where do you want me to be?"
She climbs up to the middle of her back, where the wings meet the body. "Is this good? I would fear for my life if I made you uncomfortable."
