A tall, slender figure walks into the tavern. Scraps of colorful cloth string from their clothing as they shut the door behind them. Their lower face is buried in a burgundy scarf, above which golden eyes peek out like lighthouses. Their skin is a beautiful chocolate color visible, only at the hands and the upper half of their face. Several golden earrings hang from each ear. Their short black hair is tied back into a tight bun with yet another strip of colorful cloth. She drums her fingers on the counter as if manipulating the strings of a baliset, and takes a seat for themselves in a corner booth. (The one that used to be Krathian's.)
Yazrin is sitting at the bar.
They sit down next to Yazrin, ordering water.
He orders a glass of Feywine, and smiles faintly. "What brings you here?"
"Business." they say with a thick accent that Yazrin can't quite place.
He slowly nods. "You looking for someone...?" He asks cautiously.
"Nyet." she downs her glass of water, pulling down the scarf momentarily to drink. "Well... I suppose you could say that."
He smiles slightly. "Hmmm..."
She glares at him. "Don't get any ideas bottom-dweller."
*He's a drow right?*
*Yes, he is.*
His eyes narrow immediately. "I long abandoned my people and their foul goddess. They've been hunting me for over 200 years now." He drains his glass in a single gulp before standing up, his maroon eyes flaring dangerously. "Be not quick to judge here; not everything, or everyone, are who they seem by looks." He spins, his forest green cloak flaring behind him as he moves towards the door, his movements alone revealing him to be a dangerous foe, simply from his grace and how effortlessly he moves.
Finn is walking back to the tavern from the woods, munching on an apple.
Jim is cutting up potatoes for potato soup.
*Hey INAC! Which do you want to do; Tallia/Fin or do something with my dwarf and Jim? I'm down for either.*
*Let's do Tallia/Fin for now, it looks like ima continue Jim/Raph rp w ghost.*
*Ok, no problem.*
As he's walking through the woods, he sees the tail of a black cat hanging off of a branch off to the side.
He smiles and leaps into the lower branches of the tree, scaling it quickly to the point that he's hanging from a branch looking right at what would be Tallia's back.
She leaps up to the next branch and hangs down, facing him, smiling shyly. "Hey there..." She says.
"Hi," he says, "where ya headed?"
"Nowhere." She says, a shy smile on her lips. "What about you?"
"Back to the tavern," he says, hands behind his back he flips off the trunk of the tree, grasps a nearby branch with his knees, and hangs by his legs, his face inches away from Tallia. "I don't suppose you knew you're on the trail back to my camp?"
She blushes and shakes her head. "No, I didn't..."
He chuckles, "'sfine. I'm just foolin' with you." he looks around at the situation and says, "Isn't there some song about this?"
She blinks and blushes. "I...think there might be...but we're supposed to sitting, not hanging." She says with a giggle.
He upside-down shrugs. "Close enough... unless you want to be closer."
She smiles shyly and blushes. "I...think it's close enough..."
"Alright then. Hey - I never caught what you did before you fell through the whirlpool."
She swings back upright. "I work alongside the nobles of a city near my home. They pay me, and I help protect the city from storms by diverting them away."
"Hm seems lucrative. Must've taken some time to figure out magick like that."
She laughs. "Not really. It was natural to me."
"Really? huh..." he seems very impressed. "And it took years for old Per to figure out how to banish a cloud, let alone full-on control the weather."
She giggles. "Like I said, I've got quite a few surprises."
"And like I said, I can't wait to discover them." He flips to be sitting up, "Though I probably could've guessed there was a beautiful mind behind that beautiful face."
She giggles and blushes again.
"Have you ever done any traveling?"
She nods. "A bit."
He smiles and says, "Lucky. The last time I stayed in one place for more than a week was when I lived at the monastery.'
She scrunches her face up. "Ugghhhh... Those places are too stuff..."
He laughs a bit, lightly punches her playfully on the shoulder, and says. "Hey, don't make fun of my religion. My order really helped me out, I wouldn't be here without them. I owe them a lot for that."
She giggles. "I'm not. Just don't like monasteries..."
"The only God you'll ever need, I work in contracts, thieves, sins, white lies, virtues, etc. So deal or no deal?"
"Mmm... Can you bring my family back together? Get my brothers back?"
"Depends on what you're willing to sacrifice for that, and the family, the world works in cause and effect, all actions need an equal and opposite reaction. As a demon I can bend this rule if you offer your soul, but there are other ways."
"My... soul isn't mine to offer... I'm sorry."
"It's fine, again, there are other ways. Want a list?"
"Sure?"
"Eternal servitude, someone else's soul, cool trinkets, items, basically name it I'll tell you how it'll work."
"Ooo, want a talking baby doll?"

Thinks for a second. "Do you know what Lysander means?"
"I know in Old Siddish it is a term joined by two thoughts, Lys meaning something akin to knowledge, and then Ander which could refer to a clan name."
Nods no. "From my... culture, it means freer of men."
"Ah, and how did you earn such a grand name?"
"I escaped from the prision of the gods?"
He whistles, "A much better trial than mine."
"What was yours?"
"A good drinking story, me and 14 others were stuck in an old fort during the winter. Our enemy approaching, having tracked us from their camp. It was I who led everyone after our leader died. We were able to hold the fort for 3 days before reinforcements came and pushed the enemy back. I was given the name Snowfell that day, and a rank was granted to me so I may lead seven squads of seven Oliers."
"What were you refered to before that?"

I used to portray Krathian, Q'ilbrith, Jim, Tara, Turin, Nathan, Tench, Finn, Alvin, and other characters in various taverns.
