"No... which is why it's such a stupid dream to have. A little kobold like me could never be powerful, feared, respected, or be known not to be messed with. Even magic could only take me so far in that. There's always going to be something or someone that could safely bully me. I can't even risk joining a group of some sort without fear of some money-hungry thief among them attempting to take my hoard. It's nothing but absurd and stupid for me to have that type of dream, even though I refuse to drop it as my dream."

*HOW THE ABSOLUTE HECK DOES SHE HAVE LESS STRENGTH THAN A TINY KOBOLD???*

"Just being there as a friend can be helpful in many ways. The biggest fear in people is the fear of rejection and being alone"

"Well, I'm kind of very selfish. There are three things I really care about, my hoard, my dream, and my life. I'd rather escape with my life than sacrifice it for something else, the only thing I'd even consider placing above my life is my hoard."

"Whats your dream, and whats in your hoard?"

"My hoard is, well, a hoard. Like, treasure and gold and stuff. My dream.... it's stupid.... you would just laugh. It's a stupid dream for someone like me to have."

"I wouldnt laugh. What is it?"

"Well.... I..... I.... want to......I want to be like a dragon one day." She closed her eyes, waiting for the laughter.

"Huh. Thats a pretty interesting goal. Do you have any ideas on how to get there?"

"No... which is why it's such a stupid dream to have. A little kobold like me could never be powerful, feared, respected, or be known not to be messed with. Even magic could only take me so far in that. There's always going to be something or someone that could safely bully me. I can't even risk joining a group of some sort without fear of some money-hungry thief among them attempting to take my hoard. It's nothing but absurd and stupid for me to have that type of dream, even though I refuse to drop it as my dream."
