Paladins are rooted in devotion. They can't suddenly turn. Introduce them to truth slowly, until you can lead them into a rabbit hole of doubt. If you approach this person with the appearance that you've given up trying to turn them and befriend them instead, they're more likely to understand. Show them only what supports you, and introduce counterarguments that you can disprove. For example, the sins of gods typically seen as good.
