*Hi! I brought a new character in. Her name’s Kalani. Maybe she could meet Ringmaster.*

*Would it be okay if I do one of my other characters, first?*

*Sure!*

A hooded figure stares at Kalani from across the room. They glance away every few seconds, as if they're pretending not to look.

Kalani looks over and waves to them.

They wave back, seeming a bit nervous, though their hood hides their face.

“That’s close!” Kalani says excitedly to Avery. She goes over to the hooded figure. “I’m Kalani. Nice to meet you.”

"I'm... uh... Alice. Right." Their voice is hoarse and rough, but there's a faint melodic undertone in it.

*Roll Insight.*

“That’s a nice name,” Kalani says. She suspects it’s not the figure’s real name, though she is glad to at least know that the mysterious figure identifies as female.

Insight: 22

*As she thought, she can tell that "Alice" is lying about their name.*

"Oh... uh... thank you. Yours is nice, too."

“It means Daughter of the Sea. I’m a druid of the coast.”

"You can do magic?" She sounds a little bit in awe.

“I can! I’m a druid. Like a cleric of the land.”

*Brb in like 15 mins*

"So you're a priest?" She seems a bit nervous, now, but also curious.

*See you!*

“Sort of. Druids follow the Old Faith. We believe in one supreme Goddess of the earth and the sea rather than a bunch of lesser gods.”

They wave back, seeming a bit nervous, though their hood hides their face.

“That’s close!” Kalani says excitedly to Avery. She goes over to the hooded figure. “I’m Kalani. Nice to meet you.”

"I'm... uh... Alice. Right." Their voice is hoarse and rough, but there's a faint melodic undertone in it.

*Roll Insight.*

“That’s a nice name,” Kalani says. She suspects it’s not the figure’s real name, though she is glad to at least know that the mysterious figure identifies as female.

Insight: 22

*As she thought, she can tell that "Alice" is lying about their name.*

"Oh... uh... thank you. Yours is nice, too."

“It means Daughter of the Sea. I’m a druid of the coast.”

"You can do magic?" She sounds a little bit in awe.

“I can! I’m a druid. Like a cleric of the land.”

*Brb in like 15 mins*

"So you're a priest?" She seems a bit nervous, now, but also curious.

*See you!*

“Sort of. Druids follow the Old Faith. We believe in one supreme Goddess of the earth and the sea rather than a bunch of lesser gods.”

*Night guys*

"Really? Is she real?"

*Neutral Good night!*

“She’s real,” Kalani says earnestly.

"How do you know?" She sounds curious, not like she's questioning Kalani.
