*Nobody else is on, so I'll just post a cutscene and return to the shadows until at least Sunday, when I'll emerge to brief conversations and long periods of silence and being unnoticed..*
A makeshift wall rests along a ridge that stretches for hundreds of feet in either direction. The wall is comprised of boulders and earth, and wooden boards present a surface to stand on. Twelve soldiers, mostly humans, half-orcs, and half-elves, stand on the wall, all of them wearing similar chain mail. Six of them, all looking proud against the nervous, frightened, and emotionless faces of the others, stand close together. They stand straighter, too, and the six easily stand out from the group they stand in. The six are three humans, one female and two male, a male half-elf, a female dwarf, and a half-orc. It starts to rain around them, and thunder rolls.
