"Yeah, from the looks of it a displacer beast would eat you. I'd say its best either i go, or the better option of both of us go. The children are very unlikely to get harmed while at the tavern, so leaving them unwatched for a few minutes should be fine. That or we could get someone trustworthy to watch them."

Phantom laughs. "I'm a lot more than I look. Trust me, I can handle myself against a Displacer Beast." With that, you get a telepathic image of a dragon's reflection as it flies over a massive lake.
It has polished black scales with silver highlights along the spine, eyebrows, shoulders, and the edges of the "arms" that its wings are on. Instead of the usual forward-pointing horns most black dragons have, it's horns point backwards, and are curled halfway along their length, doing a complete circle that leads to a slightly-upward pointing tip. It's head is more akin to the shape of a Green or Topaz Dragon's, and a row of curved, almost needlelike spines, run from the top of its head to about a third of the way down its tail. On the end of its tail, where the tip should be, is instead a blade that seems to be made out of the dragon's own bone. It's eyes are a deep green color, almost like a pine tree's needles when viewed at twilight
Phantom is looking directly at Vega when he receives that image, almost as if waiting for a response to it.
"....you can make illusions?" Vega asks, "Or do you own, slash are that dragon."
