Kalnor is messing with a ring, while taking out a book
E is in Sigil
Tikalae is researching
The sword swarm is currently outside the safe area, searching for anything to attack.
Chris thinks TTB is sick as in awesome, but hopes he physically gets better soon
Mithris walks over to Kalnor. "How are you doing?"
TTB hopes so, too.
He smiles a bit "Pretty alright. You?"
"I'm well. What are you doing?"
"Nothing much. Just was about to read a book"
"Which one?"
"Its called 'City of the Clouded Sun'"
"What is it about?"
"Im not fully sure yet... Ive just started. So far, theres 2 characters named Reza and Evala"
"Are either of them interesting?"
He nods "Both have something about them.thats different. And they seem like interesting people"
"Maybe I could read it after you're done?"
He smiles "If you want to, then sure!"
Mithris nods. "I do."
"Then Ill get it to you as soon as I can. Probably a day or 2. Its around 190 pages"
"I hope you enjoy it."
"Thank you! Hopefully nothing distracting gets in the way... Like the sword"

Timber walks over to him. "You never told me what the Bleeding Legion is."
"And why should I? I have better things to do."
"You're just standing there. And I'm too cute to ignore." Timber grins evilly.
"I have no problems with ignoring you."
"Pleeeeease? I'll be your best friend."
"No."
"I'll keep bothering you, and you can't hurt me in here I think." Timber says smugly.
"Hurt you? No. I just don't have time for you."
Timber puts her book in her pocket. "Well if you don't tell me then I wont tell you what I'm reading."
"I have a better offer. You won't even have to tell me what you're reading."
"Then you'll tell me?"
Xorius nods.
"YAY!" Timber punches the air in jubilance.
Xorius pulls out a scroll. "You just have to sign this. I can explain what it means, if you want."
Timber looks at the scroll for a second, and then laughs. "Ha ha, you think I'm that dumb? I know your a devil, I read all about Vali fighting in the War of the Whispering Hole. I know you guys are no good."
"On the contrary, I thought you would be smarter than to believe that foolish propaganda. You would really believe a story like that? One that's so easily disproven?"
"Then how come afterwards, Vali formed an entire empire that was a critical part of the founding of Eluria? It's part of my world's history. It's not just a story, it's a whole war." Timber holds out an older book entitled, "History of the War of the Whispering Hole". "It's true!"
Soldaer turns to E, a smile on his face. "Well E, anywhere in particular you'd like to check out today? Or would you rather just look around?"
"Im fine with anywhere, really. I dont exactly know much of whats around"
Soldaer chuckles at that. "Neither do I entirely. I guess it's time to explore."
She nods
"You have enough supplies for spell scrolls? If not, we can go looking for more. Plus, I can keep an eye out for any spells form my homeworld there. Otherwise, I'm fine with anywhere honestly myself."
"More scrolls is definitely always a good idea. I always need new spells"
"Alright then, let's go find an appropriate magic shop" Soldaer says with a smile.
She begins standing, Roffigirrte deciding to make it difficult today
"Is Roffigirrte being difficult today, E?" Soldaer says with an amused smile.
"It seems like it... He likes being a little pain sometimes" she says, jokingly
Soldaer reaches out to pet Roffigirrte, a smile still on his face.
*24 animal handling*
He rubs against the hand, careful with the knife
Soldaer has a broad smile on his face, the ranger in him absolutely showing through.
"He seems very friendly though." Soldaer says, looking over at E, the same smile still on his face as he continues stroking Roffigirrte.
She nods "Despite the chilling way he can stare, hes usually pretty nice to people he meets"
"That seems true of a lot of animals, even those that tend to get bad reputations." Soldaer says, still stroking Roffigirrte. "But, we should probably go shopping for your scroll supplies, and seeing what else other people have. As much as I would love to spend the day here, there is stuff to do."
"There always is, isnt there?"
Soldaer laughs. "Unfortunately, true E! I wish I had more time to spend doing what I wanted, which is honestly kinda the reason why I haven't gone home yet. That, and unless another dragon attacks, I doubt anything is going to happen that my people can't handle without me." Soldaer stops stroking Roffigirrte. "Well, let's go find you your supplies, shall we? I think I remember seeing a promising shop on our way here earlier."
She nods "Alright"
Soldaer stands up, and turns to offer E a helping hand up as well, before leading her down a few twists and turns to a rather small magic shop. It has a slightly beaten hanging sign out front that reads "The Spell Counter."
She seems to look at the exterior carefully, before stepping in
Sure enough, Soldaer was right. The shelves along the back are lined with a plethora (Such a fun word to say, isn't it?) of scrolls. On tables in the midsection of the store, are any supplies you could possibly think to need for transcribing spells onto scrolls or into spellbooks, including several spellbooks themselves. The racks on the right side of the store hold many staves, rods, and wands, and the left side of the store has large vats filled with various colorful liquids, and several tables nearby holding vials and bottles for collecting said liquids. Near the front on the left-hand wall is a counter with a scale and few other devices on it, behind which stands a beautiful Air Genasi. "Welcome to The Spell Counter. Feel free to look around. If you have questions, let me know." She says with a smile, almost seeming glad to have customers.
"Honestly, this is a better stop that I thought it would be." Soldaer says to E, a smile on his face as he takes in the scene.
"Ive... Never actually been in a shop purely for magic" she begins slowly walking around, in a state of wonder, carefully taking in the scene
Soldaer stops, a look of shock on his face. "Seriously? You'll be in for a treat if you ever come to Hyperia with me then. Every major city has at least one magic shop. Kerrodale has at least a half dozen, probably more, but it's also home to a rather large school of magic, not too dissimilar to Strixhaven."
Timber walks over to him. "You never told me what the Bleeding Legion is."
"And why should I? I have better things to do."
"You're just standing there. And I'm too cute to ignore." Timber grins evilly.

Thirteen is in the mountains to the far east of the tavern, collecting ice and snow.
Timber is reading a book about the Great War of Aradyr.
Cractalus is eating sunflower seeds and walking around with the Sigil shopping party, occasionally becoming an ancient black dragon when he sneezes.
Phantom, while flying and exploring the region, spots Thirteen, and lands nearby. "So, what exactly are you planning on doing with all that snow?"
"I'm gonna have to leave the tavern for a while, so I'm gonna use it to make a simulacrum."
"A simulacrum? Interesting. Where exactly is it that you're going that will require you to leave a simulacrum here in your stead?"
"To kill someone who is so evil it can never be excused. In the Shadowfell." Thirteen smiles maliciously before attempting to hit Phantom with a snowball. Make a Dex save to dodge.
*fyi you won't take damage if you are hit*
*he won't dodge in that case.*
Phantom sees the snowball coming, and it hits him dead in the chest. A grin spreads across his face as he shifts back into his moon elf form. He then reaches down and pakcs his own snowball, and throws it at Thirteen.
18 to hit.
Thirteen smiles back. "Maybe I should do something huge to make my mark before I leave. Who knows when, or if, I'll ever be back here?"
Soldaer turns to E, a smile on his face. "Well E, anywhere in particular you'd like to check out today? Or would you rather just look around?"

"You never answered me. Where are you going?"
"Shadowfell. Gonna kill some dude named Feakor who killed my entire house, the contents of the demiplane of Algarheim, AND hundreds of earth elementals and gnomes."
"That is a rather...unusual list of victims... Best of luck though. I have prior obligations with dealing with a Dracolich myself, otherwise I'd be willing to join you."

"You shouldn't believe books or stories simply because most people think they're true. Quite frankly, most people are idiots."
"This was written by an elf who was alive then. Also, Vali's grave is real. We tabaxi raised him when he was young, after his parents were forced to turn him from a god to a mere human, and we created the first stone golems to aid him in battle, by binding elementals to stones forged by the pilikua."
"And what proof do you have that he didn't lie?"
"I don't, but I have faith in our tradition. And with faith, so much can be accomplished."
"Faith is misguiding. Why should you trust something that you have no proof is true? Especially when there's so much to prove it wrong. Having faith isn't being strong. It's simply being foolish and idiotic."

"Sogel also has magic shops... But I wasnt able to afford them as a child, and wasnt really allowed in the ones in my home city as there were... Problems at the time. Ever since Ive really only been in the taverns, or exploring worlds"
"Interesting. Well, feel free to look around." Soldaer says. Remember, it's on me, E, so don't worry about how expensive it is. He adds telepathically, so smoothly that E almost doesn't realize that he switched.
She begins looking through each of the scrolls
She she's scrolls for just about any spell imaginable (Both canon and homebrew), for just about any type of mage. There's even a Wish scroll if she so wanted it.
Soldaer comes over and joins her, and, by sheer luck, immediately finds a scroll with a spell from his homeworld on it: Lightning Web.
*I'll DM it to you in Discord. Not published on DDB, as it's part of the campaign setting, but E can still use it.*
"Hey E, you won't guess what I just found..." His voice trails off slightly, as he is still slightly in shock at finding something from his homeworld here.
Thirteen is in the mountains to the far east of the tavern, collecting ice and snow.
Timber is reading a book about the Great War of Aradyr.

"Dracolich. One key example of necromancy used wrong."
"Indeed. Resurrections can be very helpful, when preformed properly. Dracolichs, liches, and the like are scourges for the most part. There are, rarely, goodly undead, but most are not."
Timber walks over to him. "You never told me what the Bleeding Legion is."
"And why should I? I have better things to do."
