Sure enough, Soldaer was right. The shelves along the back are lined with a plethora (Such a fun word to say, isn't it?) of scrolls. On tables in the midsection of the store, are any supplies you could possibly think to need for transcribing spells onto scrolls or into spellbooks, including several spellbooks themselves. The racks on the right side of the store hold many staves, rods, and wands, and the left side of the store has large vats filled with various colorful liquids, and several tables nearby holding vials and bottles for collecting said liquids. Near the front on the left-hand wall is a counter with a scale and few other devices on it, behind which stands a beautiful Air Genasi. "Welcome to The Spell Counter. Feel free to look around. If you have questions, let me know." She says with a smile, almost seeming glad to have customers.

"Honestly, this is a better stop that I thought it would be." Soldaer says to E, a smile on his face as he takes in the scene.

"Ive... Never actually been in a shop purely for magic" she begins slowly walking around, in a state of wonder, carefully taking in the scene

Soldaer stops, a look of shock on his face. "Seriously? You'll be in for a treat if you ever come to Hyperia with me then. Every major city has at least one magic shop. Kerrodale has at least a half dozen, probably more, but it's also home to a rather large school of magic, not too dissimilar to Strixhaven."

"Sogel also has magic shops... But I wasnt able to afford them as a child, and wasnt really allowed in the ones in my home city as there were... Problems at the time. Ever since Ive really only been in the taverns, or exploring worlds"

"Interesting. Well, feel free to look around." Soldaer says. Remember, it's on me, E, so don't worry about how expensive it is. He adds telepathically, so smoothly that E almost doesn't realize that he switched.

She begins looking through each of the scrolls

She she's scrolls for just about any spell imaginable (Both canon and homebrew), for just about any type of mage. There's even a Wish scroll if she so wanted it.

Soldaer comes over and joins her, and, by sheer luck, immediately finds a scroll with a spell from his homeworld on it: Lightning Web.

*I'll DM it to you in Discord. Not published on DDB, as it's part of the campaign setting, but E can still use it.*

"Hey E, you won't guess what I just found..." His voice trails off slightly, as he is still slightly in shock at finding something from his homeworld here.

She smiles slightly, whispering to herself "Theres one spell I know they dont have...." Before she grabs a few: Contingency, Globe of invulnerability, Mental Prison, and Trueseeing. She then turns to him "Whatd you find?"

"A spell from my world......"

She looks over, clearly interested "What is it? What does.it do?"

Soldaer hands her the scroll. It's called lightning web. A powerful controlling and damage-dealing spell. I think you may like it.

She takes a look at it, before nodding, and adding it to the group (I cant cast it yet, but itll be great when I can)

I'll let you keep perusing here. I'm going to go look at the other items in the shop.

(Alright. Ill try not to grab too much more before looking at other things)

There's one other spell I think you can use and that you might like if they have it. It's called maddening darkness. I don't think you can use it yet, but it is definitely a powerful addition to your repertoire if it's your style.

On tables in the midsection of the store, are any supplies you could possibly think to need for transcribing spells onto scrolls or into spellbooks, including several spellbooks themselves. Soldaer stops, a look of shock on his face. "Seriously? You'll be in for a treat if you ever come to Hyperia with me then. Every major city has at least one magic shop. Kerrodale has at least a half dozen, probably more, but it's also home to a rather large school of magic, not too dissimilar to Strixhaven."

"Sogel also has magic shops... But I wasnt able to afford them as a child, and wasnt really allowed in the ones in my home city as there were... Problems at the time. Ever since Ive really only been in the taverns, or exploring worlds"

"Interesting. Well, feel free to look around." Soldaer says. Remember, it's on me, E, so don't worry about how expensive it is. He adds telepathically, so smoothly that E almost doesn't realize that he switched.

She begins looking through each of the scrolls

She she's scrolls for just about any spell imaginable (Both canon and homebrew), for just about any type of mage. There's even a Wish scroll if she so wanted it.

Soldaer comes over and joins her, and, by sheer luck, immediately finds a scroll with a spell from his homeworld on it: Lightning Web.

Indeed. Looks like they've got some other items here that may interest us. I think this He holds up a rod with what look like rooks at the ends and engraved with hieroglyphs, is a Rod of Absorption. Could be useful if you got in a spell duel again. If you don't want it, I may just have to take it.

Soldaer stops, a look of shock on his face. "Seriously? You'll be in for a treat if you ever come to Hyperia with me then. Every major city has at least one magic shop. Kerrodale has at least a half dozen, probably more, but it's also home to a rather large school of magic, not too dissimilar to Strixhaven."

"Sogel also has magic shops... But I wasnt able to afford them as a child, and wasnt really allowed in the ones in my home city as there were... Problems at the time. Ever since Ive really only been in the taverns, or exploring worlds"

"Interesting. Well, feel free to look around." Soldaer says. Remember, it's on me, E, so don't worry about how expensive it is. He adds telepathically, so smoothly that E almost doesn't realize that he switched.

She begins looking through each of the scrolls

She she's scrolls for just about any spell imaginable (Both canon and homebrew), for just about any type of mage. There's even a Wish scroll if she so wanted it.

Soldaer comes over and joins her, and, by sheer luck, immediately finds a scroll with a spell from his homeworld on it: Lightning Web.

"Hey E, you won't guess what I just found..." His voice trails off slightly, as he is still slightly in shock at finding something from his homeworld here.

She smiles slightly, whispering to herself "Theres one spell I know they dont have...." Before she grabs a few: Contingency, Globe of invulnerability, Mental Prison, and Trueseeing. She then turns to him "Whatd you find?"

"A spell from my world......"

She looks over, clearly interested "What is it? What does.it do?"

Soldaer hands her the scroll. It's called lightning web. A powerful controlling and damage-dealing spell. I think you may like it.

She takes a look at it, before nodding, and adding it to the group (I cant cast it yet, but itll be great when I can)

There's one other spell I think you can use and that you might like if they have it. It's called maddening darkness. I don't think you can use it yet, but it is definitely a powerful addition to your repertoire if it's your style.

A staff specifically for those of druidic training: a Staff of the Woodlands. Soldaer has a wide smile as he examines it. In nearly perfect condition too!

Sure enough, Soldaer was right. The shelves along the back are lined with a plethora (Such a fun word to say, isn't it?) of scrolls. On tables in the midsection of the store, are any supplies you could possibly think to need for transcribing spells onto scrolls or into spellbooks, including several spellbooks themselves. The racks on the right side of the store hold many staves, rods, and wands, and the left side of the store has large vats filled with various colorful liquids, and several tables nearby holding vials and bottles for collecting said liquids. Near the front on the left-hand wall is a counter with a scale and few other devices on it, behind which stands a beautiful Air Genasi. "Welcome to The Spell Counter. Feel free to look around. If you have questions, let me know." She says with a smile, almost seeming glad to have customers.

"Honestly, this is a better stop that I thought it would be." Soldaer says to E, a smile on his face as he takes in the scene.

"Ive... Never actually been in a shop purely for magic" she begins slowly walking around, in a state of wonder, carefully taking in the scene

Soldaer stops, a look of shock on his face. "Seriously? You'll be in for a treat if you ever come to Hyperia with me then. Every major city has at least one magic shop. Kerrodale has at least a half dozen, probably more, but it's also home to a rather large school of magic, not too dissimilar to Strixhaven."

"Sogel also has magic shops... But I wasnt able to afford them as a child, and wasnt really allowed in the ones in my home city as there were... Problems at the time. Ever since Ive really only been in the taverns, or exploring worlds"

"Interesting. Well, feel free to look around." Soldaer says. Remember, it's on me, E, so don't worry about how expensive it is. He adds telepathically, so smoothly that E almost doesn't realize that he switched.

She begins looking through each of the scrolls

She she's scrolls for just about any spell imaginable (Both canon and homebrew), for just about any type of mage. There's even a Wish scroll if she so wanted it.

Soldaer comes over and joins her, and, by sheer luck, immediately finds a scroll with a spell from his homeworld on it: Lightning Web.

*I'll DM it to you in Discord. Not published on DDB, as it's part of the campaign setting, but E can still use it.*

"Hey E, you won't guess what I just found..." His voice trails off slightly, as he is still slightly in shock at finding something from his homeworld here.

She smiles slightly, whispering to herself "Theres one spell I know they dont have...." Before she grabs a few: Contingency, Globe of invulnerability, Mental Prison, and Trueseeing. She then turns to him "Whatd you find?"

"A spell from my world......"

She looks over, clearly interested "What is it? What does.it do?"

Soldaer hands her the scroll. It's called lightning web. A powerful controlling and damage-dealing spell. I think you may like it.

She takes a look at it, before nodding, and adding it to the group (I cant cast it yet, but itll be great when I can)

I'll let you keep perusing here. I'm going to go look at the other items in the shop.

(Alright. Ill try not to grab too much more before looking at other things)

Soldaer laughs, both aloud and telepathically. Don't worry E. I'm sure there's plenty here to keep us both occupied for a while. Besides, it's not like I'm short on gold.

Soldaer moves off to look at the racks of staves, rods, and wands, keeping the telepathic connection open with E.

(Honestly... I could sit here for years if I really wanted to. Theres... Quite a lot. And still... I dont want to cost too much)

Don't worry about the price E. I only brought a portion of my gold. There's actually more in my room back in the Tavern, so don't worry about the cost. There's one other spell I think you can use and that you might like if they have it. It's called maddening darkness. I don't think you can use it yet, but it is definitely a powerful addition to your repertoire if it's your style.

Same here. I've only seen one or two, ever. One of those was in a museum, and the other was in the hands of the Archmage and headmaster of the magic school in Kerrodale.
