Zenix, atleast from what teruo can see, is unphased, "That just means you have no protection here" he says, lifting teruo off the ground by his throat
Teruo narrowed his eyes. "No." He choked out. "It just means I'm not held by the code you think I am." He casted Fire Wall directly between them.
Dex save of 14, take 31 damage, or half on a success.

"Are you deaf? You apparently didn't hear what I said." A moment of silence, then a chuckle. "You know, for someone who claims others are pathetic, you seem to rely on your bark quite a bit." A slicing noise was heard, then the tree he was behind started tipping towards Zenix.
"Oh i heard, it was just a good chance for a pun." Zenix says. As the tree starts tipping towards him, he grimaces, muttering something to himself. Just as the tree is about to land on him, there is a crunching noise as the wood is split in two
As he does so, two fiery rays streak towards him amongst the hail of splinters. *3rd level scorching ray, baby!*
25 to hit, 2 damage for ray 1
10 to hit, 8 damage for ray 2
The first ray hits, burning a section of his shoulder, before cuts the second in half, the halves hitting the ground behind him. Its not apparent how he cut it, just that he used a large blad that is now nowhere to be seen, "Sneak attacks. A good tactic, if below your kind."
Teruo isn't anywhere to be seen as the debris clears. "Well, it wasn't in the cards until you started using that stupid charm."
"What an interesting line of thought," He says sarcastically.
A dry chuckle responded.

*Not much, though there seems to be some buckles on his outfit in areas*
*hmm... good enough. HEAT METAL! Range is 60ft, so it should be doable while staying away from Zenix. :)*

Zenix doesn't move, the metal parts of his outfit a glowing red, along with some metal parts on the mask. After a few moments, Teruo hears a raven caw behind him
Teruo is instantly turns around to try and grab the bird.

The bird is easily grabbed, squacking in an annoyed manor
Teruo narrows his eyes. "Shut up." -SNAP-
*1. Dark, like holy heck. 2. Bad move*
The bird lies dead in his grip, and loud stomping footsteps are heard behind him
Teruo chuckles and misty steps away, leaving the dead bird on the ground.
*Yeah, Teruo is mostly morally ambiguous.*
As he appears in whatever spot he chose, he hears someone telepory just behind him, before zenix grabs him, slamming him against a tree
"Oof!" Teruo glares at him, slicing his sword outward twice, aiming for Zenix's stomach.

13 to hit, 9 damage

Taking the lower of the two, both miss
Zenix's hand moves up and around teruo's throat, "How dare you." He says
He smiles. "What, I kill your pet?" He said in a mocking tone.

Zenix, with a calm expression on his face, pulls teruo's head forward, before slamming it back into the tree, "I was going to spare you."

He attempts to transform into his fox form and run to disappear in another tangle of trees.
Acrobatics to escape grapple: 27 *A very small chance to succeed this, so here' s what he'll do if it fails.*
As he's pulled forward, he uses his katana to slash out again, attempting to cut Zenix's hand off of his wrist.
