*Time to introduce this mildly rushed character whom I still really love the idea of and I hope y'all love too.*
A tallish figure opens the door to the tavern, escorted by the cheerful, cascading sound of small bells. They stroke their chin as they walk into the quieting hustle and bustle of the tavern. They cut an odd figure, a well-groomed and waxed thick brown beard and mustache, the latter of which's ends have been twirled around into near-loops. An upturned, impish nose and mischievous sparkling blue eyes command the greater part of the figure's face, which is topped by an odd peaked cap made out of yellow cloth whose end falls limp around his shoulder, a small bell hanging from its tip. The figure wears battered plate armor, adorned with rows and rows of small golden bells, from the edges of the pauldrons to the upturned tips of the boots. A wooden round shield painted with the emblem of a white flame is strapped to one arm, while the other loosely carries an iron-tipped spear like a walking stick. They sit down at the bar, his armor chiming as he makes his way across the tavern floor.
Gwen looks over at them, curious but shy. They begin to sketch them
They take a long draught of their mead, setting it down and sighing in contentment for a moment. A minute or so later, they notice Gwen looking, and walk over, greeting them. "Hello."
They wave shyly. "Um... hi to you too... Who are you?"
He smiles kindly, pulling out a chair for himself at their table. "Malte Serafina, and yourself?"
"You can call me Gwen." They say, moving to the opposite side. "Um... so... how is it going?"
"Nice to meet you, Gwen." he shifts in his chair, causing another round of soft jangling. "To be honest, it's been a bit strenuous lately. It's a long walk from the stronghold at Abydos, especially considering I couldn't stop to rest. I stumbled upon this cozy little place though and thought it would be safe to stay the night." He looks around the main room, a faint smile of nostalgia on his lips. He speaks softly, with a slight middle-european accent.
"I see... um... nice bells." They comment
He chuckles, "Ah, good to see someone else likes them. I find silence a tad unnerving sometimes, these help with that."
"I see... so where did you get them?"
"The cathedral at Abydos made many beautiful things out of silver and gold in order to keep itself afloat. Both beautiful to look at and beautiful to listen to. Bells were one of their specialties and, as a resident, I found them easily available to adorn my armor."
"Cool. Where is Abydos?"
"The holy city is a few days west of here, It's a beautiful place."
*It's actually on another plane, Malte is completely unaware he's stumbled into a portal and thus Entropy.*
"Ooo, want to bring me there?"
He smiles sadly, "I wish I could, but sadly, they don't like me there anymore. Perhaps someday."
"Oh... got it. Want to talk about something else?"
"That would be nice, my old order is still a bit of a raw subject for me." He says, making a 'tiny' gesture with his fingers. "What about yourself Gwen, where do you come from?"
"A... world known as Aviski. A world without gods and ruled by Dragons, very different from most others... What do you want to know?"
"What was it like, beautiful mountains? Rolling hills? Barren deserts?"
"Well its a whole planet, so all that and more."
*Malte: (Is from Medieval Era of Science) (Has no [GP]ing idea what a planet is) (Confused stare)*
"It sounds lovely, though rather dangerous if it has such a large volume of wyrms."
*Gwen has been to mutliple university, even though she is from a medivel world, she knows a lot*
"We were.... Connected to a ruling family of wyrms but you are right. My siblings led a revolution, so I fled with my guardian."
*Does malte have true sight?*
*Regrettably, no.*
"Ahh revolution. What over, politics or religion?"
"Um... Both. But gods don't exist in my world. Think of religion more like philosophy."
"I...see."
"Indeed... Um... So I am an elf, what species are you? If I may ask."
"No worries, I'm human, merely human." He leans forward, "I've met a very few elves in my day, and each was rather ... reserved. Not willing to so freely converse as you and I are, it's refreshing to meet one such as yourself.
“Thank you. It might be that I am a kid, and maybe something else… How is being a human?”
He chuckles "As opposed to being an elf? I wouldn't know. I guess, it's pretty good, objectively, not much different, though we live shorter and can't see in the dark," he points at his eye and chuckles.
“Mmm… your very different then the humans on my home world. They were petty, xenophobic, and lying barbarians… sorry if I insulted you.”
He openly laughs "It's fine, there happens to be some of those everywhere among humans."

Hi everyone! I'm working up the will to finalize my signature, so... I guess this will be the signature for now
Ursula is working on her house on the edge of the forest.
Bolehs is working on card tricks.
Danger Foliage is growing in the woods. (its still just a plant)
The gnome looks at the strange plant growth with wonder.
*Description?*
it is a bark-less, 12 foot tall mess of vines. they are mostly green, but the largest ones are red with black bands. in the middle, there are 3 enormous (for a gnome) flowers that smell like brownies. the gnome can actually SEE it growing, thats how fast it is.
hello?
hello. the voice in his mind sounded old and raspy, and was clearly coming from the plant.
What species are you? I don't think I have seen something like you before
That is none of your business, stupid gnome.
*the foliage is capable of insults. ITS EVOLVING! RUNNNN*
Sorry… mind if I collect a sample?
To do what? the plant's vines were slowly growing towards the gnome.
They back away. To wonder and observe with
they quickly realize that while the main plant is in the center of the clearing, vines coated the nearby trees and ground. How about, if you can do magic or whatever you humanoids do, you make me grow faster. IF you can, you can take a sample.
I can do so, but I will be taking the sample first. They respond, making their way to a clear patch and concentrating on something
deal. the plant is slowly but surely wrapping around the nearby trees.
*is their an opening to the sky?* The gnome gently cuts off a growing vine, bottling it. They then turn to the plant. “Ready?”

Hi everyone! I'm working up the will to finalize my signature, so... I guess this will be the signature for now
Soldaer turns back to his gardens, and starts slowly trying to revive the plants Yuri killed, or at least tried to kill. Those that are beyond being revived he removes and replants. Before long, everything is back to the way it was before Yuri came.
After a few minutes, nia comes out to look at the progress
Gwen waves, handing her a bouquet
*Back for a second.*
Soldaer walks out onto the balcony of the single fully completed room and watches this, smiling. "Glad to see you two are becoming friends." He says as he easily climbs the 50 feet down the outside of the tree structure-thingy.
"This is very pretty," Nia calls up to him
Soldaer smiles, and walks over, giving Nia a hug and a kiss. "I'm glad you like it, my love. It's exhausting work, but worth it, as it will be our home."
"Oh i'm going to go ham on decorating," She smiles, returning the kiss
Soldaer chuckles. "Go for it, my love."
*Laughs in magic decorating*
"Woo!" She cheers, before immediatly regretting it, getting naseuos
Soldaer winces slightly, and gently holds her up. "Careful there, dear."
"I'm fine, just still feeling weird" She says
Soldaer nods, but the concern doesn't leave his face. "I'm still just a bit worried about you, ok?" He says with a slight smile.
"I know hon, but its alright. Just think i need a sit down," She smiles, "Lots of weird magic in the air"
Soldaer chuckles slightly, and carefully guides her down to sit on the ground. "Not the most comfortable, but better than nothing."
*Also, here's the progress on the tree-home-thingy from last night, since this is the same day still: "it is nearly 100 feet tall, with the first room completed and two more having been started. The trunk is now nearly 6 feet in diameter, and the staircase is just barely wide enough for a medium sized humanoid to fit up."*
"I'm pretty used to the ground, its all fine," She says, glad to have a bit of rest at that moment, " You've made a ton of progress," She says, looking at the house
Soldaer chuckles, and nods, seeming rather tired. "Yeah...it's a lot of work, but it'll definitely be worth it when it's done."
"Maybe you should take a break too, enjoy the nature around us?"
Soldaer chuckles again. "I did about half of the work on the house, and all of the rest of this, today. I'm so far beyond tired." He sighs, and lays back down on the ground.
Nia smiles, "Then you definatly need a break. Maybe some water."
Soldaer smiles. "Probably..." He blinks a couple times, his eyes glowing a bit. "Water probably wouldn't be a bad idea, but for now, just resting is enough, especially with you here at my side."
"Aww, how sweet," She says, poking him lightly
Soldaer smiles again, and gently pulls Nia down next to him. "Come here, Nia." He says, a surprisingly content expression on his face.
She smiles, "Hey now, watcha doing?' she says, laying beside him, content in her eyes
Soldaer chuckles slightly. "I just want to spend some time outside with my fiancé." He says with a content smile as he slides his arm beneath her shoulders and pulls her closer.
She nods, cuddling him, "Warm~" she murmers
Soldaer smiles and closes his eyes. I know I've said it before, Nia, but I am so glad you came to find me. I'm even happier that you said 'yes' to me. He shifts a little, pulling her slightly closer, and starts drifting off to sleep, both of them safe within the safety field.
I'm glad i left home. Here is much better
Agreed. Soldaer sleepily replies. I've got you, I've got my friends in the tavern...His voice trails off as sleep finally overtakes him.
Nia snuggles in, slowly following asleep aswell
Even in his sleep, Soldaer smiles contentedly.
*Timeskip?*
*Sure*
A few hours later, Soldaer wakes up to find Nia curled up half on top of him. He chuckles quietly to himself. Time to wake up, my love. He says, smiling.
Mmm, sleepy~
Soldaer chuckles. He kisses her on the top of her head. It's time to wake up...weren't you going to help decorate the rooms...? He says somewhat teasingly.
She opens her eyes a little, smiling up at him, Are the room all finished?
He kisses her. Not yet. I was busy sleeping here. He chuckles. But one of them is finished.
Fair. I guess i can decorate that one then.
Soldaer laughs. C'mon then. He says, taking Nia's hand and leading her to the tree thingy, and up the stairs to the single completed room. It is completely unfurnished yet, and about 20x35 feet, with a wraparound balcony that's about 10 feet deep.

“Ready?”
*yes*

"Wow, this is big."
Soldaer chuckles. "You've got your work cut out for you, and so do I still. I'm actually going to get back to work on this, so I'd suggest that you sit down and start planning, because this could make the room shake a little." He gives Nia another hug and kiss. "I'll be down at the base if you need me." He says, his love for her fully evident in his glowing eyes.
She nods, "I love you Sol," She says, returning the kiss and sitting down in the room to plan things
