"Since I died. Why do you ask?"
“Do you still remember what you were like before you died?”
“Yes. I was a captain of the guard and the knight of a realm… Helped defend Falkovnia from the zombie hordes……… along with abusing my power. Do you want me to say more?”
“Hm- you told me who you were, not what you were like, which leads me to believe” he starts walking backwards to face Lazarus “you don’t trust me, or you’re scared i’ll think of you differently”
Lazarus stops and collects his thoughts. “Agreed. That and I have forgotten how to be the person I was.” They pause for a while. “I was a corrupt person, who cared for my friends, and for fame but not for the lives of the common folk. I thought myself better then the others, but I found… happiness in my meager life. I lived and expressed myself, either of which I do now.”
“I was an adrenaline junkie, still am, even if I act all mature I’m still a teenager… which is partially why I can get away with a lot of things. If we were alive during the same time, I think we’d be friends”
“Mmm… maybe. I would of probably arrested you and fed you to the zombies to be honest.” They think for a while. “And being a teenager is fine. I wish I got bitten when I was to be honest.”
“I think I’d rather been fed to zombies than how I died”
“Mmm… no. Trust me. Anyway… um… What have you heard of vampires before?”
“Mom and dad told me they’re evil, never believed em tho, still don’t- mostly cuz whenever I asked about vampires all anyone ever said was not to talk to one”
“Mmm… and these vampires burnt in the sunlight and whatnot?”
“All the stereotypes, it’s so overused I stopped believing they’re like that… what have you heard of angels? Other than they hate immoral beings- despite them themselves being immortal beings”
“Mmm… you heard of a common vampire. They are blood sucking parasites who play with your emotions to drive you to ruin, before they drink you dry and leave you to die. We can talk about angels later, but I want to finish this… you understand?”
“Yessir”
“Good… I know, because I can be one… I am a lesser vampire, or a blood drinking vampire. Named such, because according to the common ones, the only things we can do is drink blood. We don’t shapeshift, burn in the sun, etc.”
Myrn is listening with much interest, apparently he’s into this stuff
“Um… Want me to tell you vampiric lore some other time?”
“Only if you want to, I like learning about things my parents always thought was linear… like math” he chuckles to himself “please continue, if you’re comfortable with that, that is”
"Um... sure, but I would like to do that sitting down.... Want to hear my comments on angels or something else?"
"Mmm... actually I can do it now." They take a deep breath in.
"The first vampire was the Dracul, said to of been born a vampire. As for where the powers came from, many disagree the source so I won't get into it now. Anyway, according to legend, the Dracul conquered and ruled and all sorts of exploits (with whatever he did being seen as what a good vampire should do and vis versa). The first person he... bit was Phorus, who was the first vampire spawn and nosferatu. Now because Phorus died during his transformation, he only was driven by his desire for blood, and thus he only existed to drink. He became know as a Nosferatu, or noise rat, and thus the first feral vampires came to be... Are you following?"
“Yep”
"Good. So for a long time, all Vampires except for the Dracul were feral, until Klankixes who discovered a way to be dead, yet not succumb to the urge to feed forever. The first person to break this cycle was Klankixes, the first vampire lord. He discovered that via the setting of goals, one could resist being feral. Those that are descended from him are the common vampires. Those that can walk on walls, shapeshift, burn in the sun, etc. He 'cursed' his blood so that all sired from it would be spawn, that way he hoped to wipe out the Nosferatu forever. Do you know of any vampire except for the classic one?"
“I know sometimes vampire types depend on their lineage or where they were turned into a vampire” [[ demon slayer and Tokyo ghoul intensifies with vampiric themes ]]
“Yes, and that is because each of the founders of each linage found a different way to defeat Nosferatu.”
“I see, so like how Japanese vampires use- uhm- what’s it called- Blood art! Like blood art?”
“You mean blood magic?”
Myrn shrugs “that’s what the Japanese guy called it” [[ he’s talkin bout my own vampire oc :,] ]]
*got it*
”Um… I see… so what angelic lore do you have to share?”
“Well, I was brought up in a different religion than most people, my parents and I believed when we saw an angel that means they were on a vacation from heaven, or serving in wars. With most angels in my religion, their wings signify what kind of person they were before they died, if their wings were on their ankles, they’re fast, on the shoulder blades across from the heart, brave, and so on and so forth, are you following?”
“Yes.” *where are his wings*

Hi everyone! I'm working up the will to finalize my signature, so... I guess this will be the signature for now
Soldaer continues singing, the tree growing exceptionally fast, and the two rooms on the second floor finishing, connected by a bridge that is seemingly grown out of thin branches and vines. A third floor emerges from the top of the tree, with the canopy quickly growing past this floor, finally stopping at nearly 170 feet off the ground. This third set of rooms get about halfway completed before Soldaer stops singing, leaning against the trunk of the tree. The trunk is now nearly 10 feet across and the staircase inside is about 6 feet across.

Elendon walks downstairs, seeming very much like just an exceptionally powerful Twilight Elf warrior, but the faint radiant aura and his glowing eyes give away his true nature.
Raphael looks at Elendon, eyes filled with wonder. They slowly meander their way over to them. “Hello, do you happen to know where one might get a drink around here?”
*Almost forgot, with Truesight:*
A pair of massive, luminous angelic wings spread out behind him, and a spectral crown rests on his head.
Elendon chuckles. Depends on what you want, deva. This establishment has almost anything you can think of.
I see… Are you a solar or something?
Elendon laughs. Higher. He blinks and the light fades from his eyes, revealing their natural color to be piercing, ice blue. Elendon Starguide, Patron God of Adventurers and the General of the Angelic Armies.
Raphael shivers slightly and resists the urge to bow. I, I see… is all that she can state coherently
Elendon laughs. Don't worry, I'm not here trying to recruit anyone. I was investigating the number of angels, fallen or otherwise, that showed up recently, despite this not being my world. Now, I'm just relaxing a bit.
I see... It is a honor to be in your presence and... I came here based on the last whispers of my god, before they went away.................... Any way I can help you on your quest? They say, worried about stuff but at the same time happy
Elendon chuckles. Not particularly at the moment. I'll be sure to keep in touch though.
oh... I understand... they say, let down. um... Mind if we talk? Sorry if I am taking up your time or something
Elendon smiles. Not at all. What do you want to talk about?
Um… flowers? Or if you want to talk about else, I am fine with that, anything or everything… I bet you could probably think of something more interesting to talk about…
Elendon chuckles. I'm not too much of a ranger or druid. That's my celestial companion, and the one who was my wife while we were mortals, Saelihn Tressatra.
Got it… we can talk about something you more know about if you want.
Elendon chuckles again. I was a powerful spellsword warrior and cleric as a mortal.
Interesting… want to tell me more? You don’t have to if you don’t want to, sorry if I am forcing you. They say, bending backwards to make the god comfortable
Elendon laughs. Look, you don't have to keep trying to bend over backwards to make me happy. I'm a warrior. I'm used to not feeling comfortable, even when we're at peace.
Um… okay. They say, not really knowing what to do. I… just was made to serve the gods… are you sure there is nothing I can do for you?
Elendon chuckles. What if I could grant you free will? What would you do then?
What do you mean? I have my free will, I just was made to serve gods. I can choose how to serve them. They say, pausing. Do you mean if I wasn’t serving gods? They respond
Elendon nods, smiling. I could change it so you didn't have to serve them. Whether you did or not would be of your own free will then.
I… Wouldn’t know what to do… they think for a while before turning to Elendon. What do you think I should do? I thought the only way angel didn’t serve gods is if they were fallen
Elendon chuckles. Technically, yes, although I prefer those who serve me to choose to do so, fully and completely.
Then… um… I choose to serve you. Raphael responds, kinda missing the point
Elendon sighs. That's not what I meant...I meant of their free will, as in they had the choice to refuse me if they wanted.
Raphael is embarrassed that they missed the point, and sad that they disappointed the god. And I don’t possess the free will to choose? So… I can’t serve you?
Elendon sighs. You didn't disappoint me, Raphael. Although, yes. I'd need to give you free will in order to for you to serve me...
Raphael thinks over this. What do you think I should do? My first instinct is to get free will, to serve… but what if afterwards I don’t want to serve? What if I fall… what if when my god comes back they need to remake me?… they say, rambling on and on
Elendon lays a hand on Raphael's shoulder. Calm down...over 90% of the time, those who are given free will choose to remain with the gods and serving them. Only those who would've fallen eventually leave and become fallen.
Raphael tenses up upon making contact with the god. Then… um… I choose free will… although it isn’t a choice I guess.
Elendon sighs. "this is going to be harder than I thought." He mutters to himself. It should be your choice, Raphael. I'm not forcing it on you...
