Soldaer continues singing, the tree growing exceptionally fast, and the two rooms on the second floor finishing, connected by a bridge that is seemingly grown out of thin branches and vines. A third floor emerges from the top of the tree, with the canopy quickly growing past this floor, finally stopping at nearly 170 feet off the ground. This third set of rooms get about halfway completed before Soldaer stops singing, leaning against the trunk of the tree. The trunk is now nearly 10 feet across and the staircase inside is about 6 feet across.
Nia is using illusions to decorate, flipping between a bunch of different options
Soldaer keeps leaning against the trunk, gathering his strength. Eventually, he gathers enough strength and climbs up the stairs, much slower than usual.
Nia looks over at him, "You ok babe?"
Soldaer smiles, and nods. "Yeah, just took a lot out of me dear." He takes her hand. "C'mon, you should see the progress."
"Hmm, sure, i can take a little break i guess"
Soldaer smiles, and leads her back down the stairs and out away from the tree so they can see it in it's entirety.
"Woah! You really got to work!"
Soldaer nods before leaning against Nia. "You...have no idea how much it takes...out of me though...dear."
"You, my good sir, need a rest now."
Soldaer chuckles. "What, are you my doctor now, Nia?" He says with a tired laugh.
"I could play nurse sometime," She smiles, "But seriously, you know i have a bit more medical experience than you."
Soldaer chuckles. "And yet I was the one to realize you were pregnant." He smiles, and sighs. "And you are right though, my love. I do need some rest."
"Hey, never did self medication!" She laughs,
Soldaer laughs. "Fair enough, dear." He sighs, seeming very tired. "Well, I'm gonna fall asleep here soon, regardless of where we are...Should probably get back inside." He chuckles slightly.
"Want me to help you walk?"
Soldaer smiles. "Would be helpful." He says with a slight laugh as he starts trying to head towards the tree house thing.
Nia loops her arm around soldaer's back, "Alright, lean on me a little."
Soldaer smiles, and wraps his arms around her shoulders, and allows her to support some of his weight. Thank you, Nia...guess I should've taken it a bit slower, shouldn't I? He laughs wryly as they make their way to the tree and start going up the stairs.
Raphael tenses up upon making contact with the god. Then… um… I choose free will… although it isn’t a choice I guess.
Elendon sighs. "this is going to be harder than I thought." He mutters to himself. It should be your choice, Raphael. I'm not forcing it on you...
*can you cut the chain?*
”But… How would you define free will?”
*Sorry*
Elendon sighs, not angry in the least, but trying to quantify the principle. "I'd say the ability to think fully autonomously; to not have anything, no higher directive, driving you to do something; the ability to say no without fear of repercussions."
“So to choose things free from outside interference. Now, if it has to be my choice, and I choose then you don’t need to give me anything. If I don’t choose, then I don’t have free will, and you can give it to me. Thus, if I am lacking free will, then I can’t choose. It would have to be your choice. If it has to be my choice, then it doesn’t matter… if that makes sense.”
Elendon shuts his eyes. "It makes sense, but you're slightly wrong. All angels have free will to some point. In this case, I am trying to give you fully free will. You have enough free will to choose whether you want it or not, or at least you should."
“Mmm… okay. Well, you could also erase my memories of you being a god… you might think I will give a more truthful answer talking to a solar or elf.”
Elendon chuckles. "Solar, possible. A normal elf? Doubtful, you still have truesight, and can see my wings and crown no doubt."
“You could charm me or something.”
Elendon shakes his head. "Not exactly my specialty. Offensive and healing are my specialties for magic, with some summoning thrown in."
“Mmm… Well I guess we will have to settle for Solar… although you might be able to make me forget and not notice via a command.”
Elendon sighs. "This isn't my nature, Raphael..."
Raphael is disappointed Um nonetheless remains resolute. “Then I guess I must play with the cards I was given…” they sigh before continuing. “From the information I have been given, I ask for free will, with as much independence as I possess currently.”

“What do your wings signify?”
“I don’t know- something to do with balance maybe? I was a thrill seeker, stupid, i still am, but I recognize it now”
“I see. Do you serve a god?”
“Well, yes and also no, I respect my gods, but I serve no one. Then again, that’s that kind of bull headed thinking that put me in multiple near death scenarios in the first place”
“Interesting… You seem more like a major petitioner of Aravandor then an angel to me.”
“As that may be, I am my own person, neither gods nor mortals will change that” he seemed determined and scared “if I allow myself to change I could loose myself forever”
“That is true, but changing can be part of someone. If I never changed, then I would of next learnt common… I can’t change and I wish I could. You can change and wish you couldn’t.”
His jaw tights, glow flickering on and off, and looks at his hands “i need to get rid of this gods forsaken light around me- I hate it- and I hate being an angel! Everyone is either afraid of me or has something against angels!” Myrn snapped, be wary
Lazarus slowly puts his hand on Myrn, trying to calm him down. “May I speak some words of advice?”
Myrn is attempting to contain his rage, but it doesn’t seem to be working “what is it?”
“One, if someone is afraid of you, then comfort them. You have a wonderful chance to make their life better. Second, if someone doesn’t like angels, they are racists.”
“They always run, they think I’m gonna bring destruction…” his glow disappears and the tip of his wings are tinged blue “I’ve never been given a chance, life and death”
Lazarus is worried. “Then they aren’t worth your time. And you have been given a chance, your immortal. You have no constraints.”
Myrn wants to throw something, and there his glow was has now turned into something on a shadow, “then everywhere but the tavern and my town are worthless”
“Currently. Want to go explore the multiverse together? Ever been to Sigil?”
“I haven’t been- I heard it’s a nice place”
“Then how about we go? You can enjoy yourself and I will show you around.”
“That- sounds nice” he seems relaxed again… mood swings got the better of him 🥴

"No problem," She smiles, not seeming to have trouble with supporting him, "Do we have beds already?" She asks once they start going upstairs
Soldaer chuckles. I don't think so, at least not yet. Furniture was going to be next once the actual building was finished. The furniture is grown from the tree as well, dear, if you remember. He sighs. The floor is fine, dear. I've slept in less comfortable places before.
"Hm...." Nia frowns, looking around for a moment, rummaging through her pocket, "I am so glad i kept some stuff on me when i came to decorate," She says, pulling out a small bead. She throws it at the floor, it making a popping noise as it erupts into a bedroll that looks rather comfy

[[ oh noh- I’m sending some cuteness your way to brighten your day ]]
Theseus is serving [[ Insert Alaric’s character because Alaric needs some cute goat >:] ]] “so, would you like anything?”
*ME NOT HAVING CHARACTERS IS PAIN RN lol*
*Hmmm, could bring in my newbies, or an old one*
*bunker?*
[[ time warp? ]]
*I got an idea*
*Give me a second to intro them*
*Alright, new friend!*
A human male enters the tavern. He has short blonde hair with a red streak thats slicked back, and a pair of silver eyes. He's wearing a semi formal outift, a pair blue jeans, a white button up dress shirt, a grey vest, and a black tie. He has a calm demeanor about him as he enters
Theseus walks up to him “Welcome to the tavern, can I get you anything?”
"Hm," They seem confused at this, "Well, can you get me some water please?" He asks
Theseus ‘bounces’ to the kitchen and comes back about a minute later with a glass of water
They take the water, "Thanks kiddo," He says, lightly patting Theseus on the head
Theseus makes a happy goat noise and evidently, goes on break
"So, what is a kid like you doing here alone?" He asks, "Do you have parents?"
Theseus huffs a bit “I know I’m short, I work here, i’m 15, yes I have parents, I’m waiting here for my friend Lysander and earning some money so I can pay for some stuff”
Theseus has ash blonde hair, his bangs cover his eyes and his horns are dull, his nose looks like a human nose up to the nostrils, where it’s naturally darker, and a dark line goes down from between his nostrils down to his upper lip, which is the same color as his nose. His ears look like goat ears, not the traditional pointy ears of normal satyrs
"Ah, i see. Is there a reason you are without them?" they ask, poking his horn

Soldaer looks slightly surprised, but grins. "That's my fiancé, always prepared, aren't you?" He says with a slight laugh before giving her a kiss.

Raphael is disappointed Um nonetheless remains resolute. “Then I guess I must play with the cards I was given…” they sigh before continuing. “From the information I have been given, I ask for free will, with as much independence as I possess currently.”
Hi everyone! I'm working up the will to finalize my signature, so... I guess this will be the signature for now
“That- sounds nice” he seems relaxed again… mood swings got the better of him 🥴

Elendon nods, and his eyes start glowing again, and the aura around him intensifies slightly. He lays a now-glowing hand on Raphael's head. "Then I hereby grant you truly free will. You are no longer bound by the edicts of those who made you. You are free to choose whom you serve, how you serve, or even if you serve."
“Good. Now we can either take the long way of drifting in the ethereal and astral, or you could try to planeshift us.”

Raphael shudders, and examines themselves. “I don’t feel any different… should I?”

Elendon shrugs. "Not necessarily. Although, if this worked, you should have full and complete free will." He thinks for a minute. "Since you serve a different pantheon, or were at least created by one, it is possible that it didn't, but it is the best I can do."
Soldaer chuckles. I don't think so, at least not yet. Furniture was going to be next once the actual building was finished. The furniture is grown from the tree as well, dear, if you remember. He sighs. The floor is fine, dear. I've slept in less comfortable places before.
