He sees lighting seemingly summoned from no where destroying a clearing in the woods
He narrows his eyes and circles back and a little lower.
He sees a Goliath welding a black sword. As each ray of lighing falls, the sword glows a pale green. The lightning bolts weave around the dragon, not hurting them in the slightest
Phantom pulls up, flying in place a decent ways up still.
The Goliath stops shooting, seemingly tired. They wave at the dragon, before preparing to shoot more
Unusual weapon you have.
Indeed. Just practicing. Something wrong? Sorry if I hurt you
Phantom chuckles. Takes more than a little lightning to hurt one as ancient as me.
Good. I don't think I want to deal with you right now, at least when you are angry. Want to land?
Phantom chuckles. Enjoying a bit of time away from my younglings, so why not? He shifts into a hawk and flies down, where he shifts into his moon elf form, with a pair of ornate longswords at his belt.
"So, who might you be?"
He smiles. "Phantomizakell, or Phantom if that's easier to remember."
"Cool. You may call me Tohono. So... You are a parent?"
Phantom chuckles. "Yes, I am....." His voice trails off and a deep sadness comes over his features momentarily. He smiles again, but it seems slightly forced. "Pleasure to meet you, Tohono."
"Sorry for bring up a sore subject... Um... Want to talk about something else?"
Phantom sighs. "It's nothing about my children...it's their mother..." He sighs again and nods. "Yeah...something else would be a good idea."
"Mmm... So what is your favorite thing to hoard?"
Phantom smiles. "My hoard has a bit of anything, although most of the truly valuable items are hidden away. I have your standard treasures, magic items, an armory that would make a king blush, and the most complete library of the last 4,000 years of literature form my world." He sighs again though as he mentions the library, that same sad look coming to his features.
The golaith frowns. "Mmm... I would ask about the specifics, but something tells me, you wouldn't be willing to share..."
Phantom laughs. "And what gives you that impression?"
"That you might be worried about creating an encitive for me to steal some stuff."
Phantom laughs again. "Trust me, the truly valuable items are well hidden away. Not even my children, as curious as they are, have discovered them yet."
"Mmm... Interested in a magic sword?"
*Phantom's probably one of the only entities that can easily resist Meroving...XD +12 CHA save.*
Phantom shakes his head. "I have dozens more, some of them sentient. I need no more." He says with a smile.
"Mmm... And the sword itself?"
*Going to get him eventually. The time stone of the MCD is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural.*
"I almost never use swords. When I fight, I find my natural weapons to be far more effective than any forged blade." he says with a slight grin.
"Even in humaniod form?"
Phantom laughs. "I'm rarely found in combat in this form, and even if I was, I can quickly, and easily change back. Besides," He walks over to a medium size tree and grabs it in his hands, "with this kind of strength," He easily tears it from the ground, roots and all ", I doubt I actually need swords. The ones I carry are powerful, but more for show in this form than actual use." He replaces the tree back where it was, fitting it perfectly back into the hole.
"Intruiging... So you wouldn't take a gift anyway?"

Phantom shrugs. "I don't need it, and besides, I can tell you are a dual-wielder. You need two weapons." He thinks a minute longer. "Any furthermore, it would most likely just end up going into my hoard, and not properly used."
Yazrin chuckles. "I also have learned how to gain every possible advantage. I strike unseen, and choose exactly where to strike." He smiles. "I know that almost makes me sound like an assassin, and I guess I am, in a way. I keep my skills honed here to protect myself, and those few who have earned the right to be called my friends."
"So you're like a Ninja, but cooler?"
He laughs. "I guess you can say that, although I don't use throwing stars or any of that sort of weapons. My bow and my swords are my weapons of choice, and occasionally the hand crossbow on my belt."

"That or my oozing charisma... Nope, hammers!"
Yazrin laughs. "Definitely hammers, although you are more charismatic than most dwarves I've met."

"Wow. This is a monster of a tree!"
*Description of the area:*
A small lake, about 70 feet across, dominates the scene. The shores have cattails and reeds, and even a few small weeping willows. Further in, and within the safety field, are several plots of flowers and vegetable- and fruit-bearing plants. About 30 feet from the shore is a massive hybrid tree, looking like a beautiful cross between willow and birch. 6 large rooms are visible, having been grown right out of the tree, one about 50 feet up with a large wraparound balcony, two more, connected by a bridge made from thinner branches and vines, about 75 feet up, and the final three up at around 100 feet up. Every room is connected to the trunk, with a spiral staircase running up through the trunk. The top floor is the terminating point of the trunk, ending in a 40 ft triangular platform with slightly curved sides, and a roof over it, but open-air otherwise. A room sits at each corner of the triangle, all of them so cunningly hidden by the branches and leaves that they are nearly invisible.
A beautiful tenor is singing in an odd mixture of elvish and druidic, and stops after it finishes what you assume is the verse. A handsome young elf walks to the balcony of one of the rooms on the third floor, smiling. Why thank you. He says telepathically.
*His description:*
He stands about 5'7", with a slight, but muscular build. He moves with a grace that seems to just come naturally, almost akin to a hunting cat stalking its prey. He has pale silver-blue hair that reaches just past his shoulders, the dark, nearly ebony, skin tone usual for his people, and pale, almost mint, green eyes. Probably around a 7/10.
He wears leather armor with bands of mithral and moonstone studs. Ornate engravings are visible in both the leather and on the bands of mithral. Over his shoulder is an ornate bow of blackened ash, carved to be reminiscent of dragon wings. On his left hip is Nightbane, a beautifully crafted rapier with a blade formed from a single, massive moonstone, and on his right is an ornate shortsword with engravings of spiders and spiderwebs. Flowing out from his back is a cloak of the deepest forest green, and hanging from an adamantite chain on his neck is an ornate whistle crafted from mithral, silver, and gold.

He laughs, and walks to the center of the platform and down the staircase. "No. Soldaer Torrae, twilight elf, ranger of Mielikki and druid and Chosen of Eilistraee." He says, bowing slightly. "And who might you be?" He asks with a smile.
