"You okay?" Gwen says, gently putting her book down before rushing over. *Detect magic*
*Nothing. It's mechanical for the door. Think Minecraft Redstone style mechanism.*
He nods. "Just...something I needed to do..." He sighs again. He holds out a new, hand-written book. "This...this was hard...but necessary." He smiles sadly. "This...this is everything that happened between me and Caelum, my wife. From our first meeting to her death at our wedding......it's everything." A single tear falls and lands on the ornate, leather-bound cover.
*Got it*
"I..." They slowly take the book and put it on a shelf. "You need some hugs?"
He smiles. "I...don't now, honestly Gwen."
Gwen shurgs and hugs Phantom, wrapping around one of their legs
*He's in elf form, sitting on one of the couches, lol*
Gwen hugs Elf-Phantom
He smiles a little, and wraps his arms around her.
*Yeah...she wouldn't have been able to reach around one of his legs in dragon form...They're about 6 feet across, XD*
Gwen, being a child, continues to gently squeeze around them
He smiles, and then gently kisses her on the top of her head, like a parent would a child. "Thank you, Gwen." He whispers.
Gwen holds back her tears. Your welcome... You remind me so much of my Mom, in a good way
He smiles slightly. I'm glad I could remind you of something good.
Yes... It just... It reminds me of what I have lost, on both sides
Phantom sighs. I...understand, probably better than you realize.

They chuckle. You have told me your loss, but you haven't allow me to tell you my loss... in all respects, you don't know.

Raillen hops down from the rafters into a chair, throwing a half empty backpack to another chair, waving at Yazrin.
Yazrin turns around, smiling ever so slightly, drinking a glass of cherry feywine.
"Hello." He leans back into his chair.
"Greetings." Yazrin takes a sip from his glass. "And who might you be?"
"Don't have the trust to tell you right now."
Yazrin chuckles, his maroon eyes sparkling slightly, and he takes another sip of his glass.
She takes a quick glance at what he has on him, especially for anything she can just nick off him. Perception: 9
She doesn't see much of anything that she could easily take from him. A rapier and shortsword hang from his belt, as does a hand crossbow. A beautifully carved longbow is slung over one of his shoulders. Oddly enough, she doesn't see any money pouch or anything similar on him.
He sucks up that there's nothing she can grab, "So you are?"

Phantom sighs, and pulls back out of the hug. Wait here, Gwen. He says before moving off into the shelves. He returns about ten minutes later with another leather-bound book in his hands, one who's cover has been heavily tear-stained over the years. Read this. Then you'll understand. He hands the book to her.
