The young man looks like he might die of fear. "I... I'm sorry..." he whispers. He swallows repeatedly, trying to muster any sort of courage.
He sighs, his posture becomes more relaxed "It's your choice to do so, as is everyone else's. Who am I to tell you what and what not to eat." He rolls his shoulders.
Seeing that he's not in immediate danger, the man manages to speak up. "I in-invented this machine. And-and-and I'm proud of it. It provides food for people who want something quick, cheap, and tolerable."
"That's is a good thing to have. A cheap meal so the people have money for other things, it's quick, they don't have to wait in line, but tolerable..." He tilts his heads "Over processed foods have shown to increase the rate of heart attacks, strokes, cholesterol levels, and much more."

"Y-yes, but if they are consumed in moderation, the negative effects can be m-minimized. I, uh, don't have a better way to deliver food via machine, and-and these are just, uh, prototypes."

Samaritan nods "If you understand that, then you are better than most fast food chains." He explains "overall, it looks good. They are fast and efficient.'

"Y-yes, they are. Not as fast as I would l-like, but they, uh, can keep fresh meat, veggies, and fruit food-safe for up to a week, and since they need so much maintenance, all those moving parts and all, I might as well just, uh, use fresh ingredients, since I'll be making the rounds anyway. I have a restaurant nearby that uses s-similar tech, but I make sure the ingredients there are never, uh, never frozen." His fear seems mostly gone, left with a baseline nervousness. More awkward than terrified.

"How do you keep the fresh items fresh? I would assume freezers in the contraption." He crouches down, still almost as tall as the tavern.

"Of course, s-sir. Sirs?" He fidgets with his hands. "Uh, I should introduce myself. Max McAllan, owner of Big Bear Beastro. I-I'm also the mascot actor, since the suit has some mechanical bits and can be a bit... quirky at times. Really, I could teach someone else to maintain and use my inventions, but... you know, easier to just do that myself. That way no one will get..." He pulls his collar down with a long finger, revealing the eye-shaped scars forming a pattern around his neck. "...hurt."
*The tourney is almost over, next will be the boss fight against the champion, and an optional boss fight against the two headed dragon emperor. I’d say it went pretty well for them.*

*Hello... Hello? Hello hello?*
Samaritan tilts his head, gesturing him to come forward. He pulls out a small packaged item, it looks like red bean mochi.
Omori is running around, ecstatically casting the one cantrip she finally learned to cast, sending little showers of harmless sparks absolutely everywhere.
KK is continuing to create horrific amalgamations of mannequin parts, animating them and leaving them to wander and probably scare someone.
Cathcart is milling about in the general area outside the Inn, boredly twirling his mace in one hand as he does.

*I’ll take that as a no, today feels like I should be choosing anyway. Tim, Sparrow and… Grimes.*
Tim is still just kinda existing, he’s waiting for a little bit, wondering when he can be told what he is, his legs swinging in a chair too tall for him, a little smile on his face.
Sparrow is drinking again, he’s been doing it less the past few days, but he’s back to alcoholism, because he’s an addict.
Grimes is preparing to kill some people in the forest, but he’s also processing his feelings as he sharpens his claws.
