Genesis is outside the tavern, painting. The Angel of Knowledge is painting what appears to be an amalgamation of flesh dotted with eyes. He wears common clothes, unlike his holy tunic, his curly golden hair tied back in a ponytail. His RBF in full effect.
Father Luciano is inside the tavern, gathering donations from the donation box for the children's presents this year. He is dressed in thick clothing to keep himself warm.
The Herald is sitting at the tavern bar, talking to a client. He looks bored but it's hard to tell due to his masked face.
After a bit of sewing on his new machine, Max brings over a plush polar bear made of soft, fluffy fabric, clothed with a little red and yellow striped vest and plaid bow tie, similar to Max's own. It's got a little hatch on its chest that looks like it can be opened. He gives it a little squeeze, and the hatch pops open to reveal a 10-piece box of hot Goodnuggets, a more protein-rich goodberry equivalent. "What do you think?"
In the darkness of the cloud covered day comes, someone, a figure clad in all black, a maroon colored tail peeking out from the garbs, a glinting silver blade at their side and a matching look in their eyes. They ride in on a horse from the warm desert nearby, a wide brimmed hat and bandana of black cover most of their face outside of said eyes, though it is easy to tell they are a lizardfolk of medium stature, around 5'4-5'8. They stand atop their horse as it gallops into town, a silver mark on the shoulder of their disguise, hard to discern at the moment.
Upon arriving in town, the new arrival set their horse free to roam while they disappear into the shadows, their features hard to detect other than what has already been noticed. They find crime wherever it may be, and when it is done they leave their mark, cut into whatever they may find, the star of a hero, the star of Zoro.

If they were turn, or are at all aware of their surroundings, they would see Tim, looking to the fleshy amalgam with interest. Sitting next to Genesis with his knees against his chest, his arms wrapped around his legs, still wearing the clothes from the hospital because his 'skin' automatically cleans anything it touches.
After a bit of sewing on his new machine, Max brings over a plush polar bear made of soft, fluffy fabric, clothed with a little red and yellow striped vest and plaid bow tie, similar to Max's own. He smiles back. "I sure hope so. I want to make sure these are cuddly and high-quality enough to eventually sell in stores. They can produce about ten boxes of goodnuggets a day, each box containing ten nuggets, and each nugget being able to sustain an adult goliath for a day, making these good boys useful as well as just nice to snuggle with. I'm planning on donating about 25 to start with this holiday season." He places the stuffed toy in the donation box. "I've already tested prototypes, and they are completely safe, too. I'm really proud of them. Not sure corporate would approve of me conjuring infinite, convenient food, though."
