*So, I came up with a potential flaw for Prospero: He can't let go of his own past. He's so empathetic that he has a habit of projecting his traumas onto others and thinking that he's being truly sympathetic. He might break someone's evil robot minion and cry because he remembers when his dad broke his toys and think that these are equally painful experiences. In reality, Prospero is indulging his guilt that he feels about every single bad thing that happens whether he could prevent it or not.*
*Sounds good, though it might just make me like him too much. Not a bad thing technically, I just would therefore wish no harm to ever come to him in any form.*
"Y- Yeah, sure!" She hops up from the bench, ecstatic. "I'll try to keep up."
"Well," It starts, its other flower heads all focusing on Tim. "As I said, I have a proposition for you. I have extensive knowledge in matters of the arcane, and my goal- which I already told you about before- would be easier to achieve with some help. You help me build the machine I'm working on, and in exchange, I can help you understand your magic. If you end up liking it, I'll help you unlock its true potential- if you don't, I'll remove it for you. Interested?"
She follows after them, stretching before going back on her run, long heavy strides as she smiles at everything Omori has accomplished, thinking to herself how much of a prodigy they are, and how dedicated.
Tim takes a long couple moments to contemplate what has been offered, unsure how to answer, and therefore lost in thought before he finally looks back up to them “Is… is anyone going to get hurt?” He asks, curious and clueless, like any of child, yet slightly more… something.

*Now that I think about it, Omori has been learning about magic at a really prodigious rate. Her being steeped in powerful shadow-magic for years might have something to do with that.*
Omori stretches a bit as well before following after Merabelle with all the energy and joy in the world, occasionally dipping into and out of shadows to keep pace.
"Only those that try to hurt us. I assure you, no one else will be in pain. You have my word." It extends one of its roots towards Tim in the same way one would offer a handshake. "Do we have a deal?"

She makes sure to stay just slow enough for them to keep up, the stars above shining as the day fades to night, and the light of her constellations become even more bright, and beautiful.
They look at the root for a moment, not sure what to do before saying “Can I… have some time to think about it? Please?” He politely asks, rubbing his thumbs together absentmindedly.
Prospero is trying to earn money by shoveling snow. Not just from lawns and driveways and stuff, but from the roads as well. A wheelbarrow of rock salt sits on the ground nearby.
Desi is sleeping off one-too-many vodkas in the tavern, slumped over his table.

Jacque and Juliette have been trying to help out, though they don’t need the money, they lack the strength to take lots of snow with each scoop, but they are making as much progress as they can with enthusiasm.

Omori continues to keep pace, and as day turns to night, her swimming through shadows becomes more frequent. Around when it is fully night, Omori is a roiling inky wave of darkness, moving like a liquid through the dark of night, with two spots of yellow light around where her eyes are. She occasionally looks up at the stars in the sky and around Merabelle with a sense of childlike wonder.
"...Very well. Take your time. If you decide you want to take my offer, let me know." It sets down the pot it had coiled in its roots, and moves back a pace.

Eventually, she stops again, finished with the run as she lays on the grass, looking up to the bright stars in the sky with a look of nothing but joy. She has a smile as wide as the sky above “Yer gonna end up with all this Omori, I can just feel it. Shadow magic is what yer best at, but the stars are yours ta claim.”
They nod, holding the vase in their hands, looking at it as they walk into the Inn, needing some time to think things over, unsure whether their drive for knowledge of what they are is higher than anything that may happen.

She cocks her head, frowning. "How come?" she says, presenting them with the mug.
"Work. Everybody was expecting her to fix everything and she was only one woman" she takes the mug. *g8g for realtis*
*assuming that's supposed to be gtg, so goodnight, friendo, love ya*
"That's frustrating... what was she supposed to be fixing?"
"Unfixable things." she sips the tea. "Things like borders and family ties and the past"
