The Magus chuckles back, a dark clucking noise. "My kids always complained about my honesty. They told me that I couldn't keep a secret for the life of me. Nowadays I try to only share my own 'secrets.' Basic decency, you know? Even the most wretched mortalkind deserve at least that."
"Hm.." Jack nods along, thinking "I have a few people who might be willing to indulge but I have always told them not to seem forbidden knowledge... But I am a hypocrite after all." He shrugs "I could find you some folks to reach out to if you so wish."
"If you would be so kind. I truly hope that one day I could teach the secrets of the universe to someone who doesn't just want power. It's so disappointing to see people waste their talents on the most basic evocation or enchantment spells when there are so many other schools to learn from." It holds a long hand over the pool of water in front of it. After a minute, the water begins to boil and smell of seafood and spices. "Magic can do anything. It isn't just limited to the lists of spells people are familiar with." It reaches into the pool and scoops up a cooked and seasoned lobster with a large seashell.
"That little trick can save thousands, if not millions of lives if applied properly. But most don't want to open their minds." It offers the lobster in broth to Jack as the pool turns back into cool, clean water.

Jack takes it devours it whole without thinking a second thought. After he is done, he speaks "There is this one kid. Rather new to magic. He is full of energy to the point it's like he's a blur before your eyes. I think he would be good for you."
*Im here, i hope you are all doing well, does anyone want to start an rp or continue one?*
*I am thinking about retconning Brody's interactions as of late because I want to reintroduce him again.*
*Okay, I got you. Understood. I only think I had like two to three interactions with him anyway, so would you like to roleplay? And are you doing good?*

"Interesting. That sounds very good. I could help him refine his approach so he doesn't accidentally burn down any homes. Power without finesse is the natural starting point for many a mage, and for one with as energetic a temperament as you've described, proper training is of deadly importance." It tilts its head. "You seem very accepting for a person who knows he's talking with an embodiment of pure evil."

"Good and evil don't exist. If they did, I would eventually fall on the evil end of the spectrum." He chuckles.
*I'd be up to RP. I introduced my satanic archetype and people like him so far, so would you like to play with that?*
*Merry Christmas Eve, Baalze.*
*Sure thing dude, who do you think of mine would go well with ‘em?*
*So this guy actually has three parts, each of which functions differently, but all of which function as enablers instead of classic tempters or destroyers. I think any of them would work well with Tim or Sparrow.*
*Also, I'm having to come to terms with the fact that DDBs default autocorrect is much worse than my own writing, which is very frustrating.*

"True on all accounts. Evil is a human construct, and one I have come to abhor. All mortalkind are 'evil,' yet I am the bad guy? Utter foolishness, but it's not my place to complain. I have pointless traditions that hold me back as well."

*Yep! Tired overall. Back hurts lol.*

*Feed me all.*
*Ive got so many characters! Here are the default ones!*
Sparrow is practicing his magic back at his camp while he cooks himself from Christmas Eve cornbread. He isn’t doing well, but he’s trying.
Merabelle is serving up food for the homeless in their time of need, right before Christmas and on Christmas Day she is going to help who she can.
Thane has made the same vow, though he cannot cook, so he’s helping in other ways, keeping people warm and giving shelter.
Grimes is having a drink and a smoke at his favorite stump, it slowly expanding to become a small camp, a hammock nearby.

*Yeah the autocorrect sucks bro. I wish it was better and knew how sentences worked. Anyway, here’s Tim.*
Tim is sitting in front of a campfire, his knees pressed against his chest as he watches the flames crackle with a distant look in his eyes, like he’s seeing something no one else can.

A massive beast of indeterminable species with deep blue fur, colorless spiral eyes, and ram horns walks over and lays down, placing its head in Tim's lap like an overgrown dog.
