Omori is walking through the woods, trying to practice her magic more.
KK is still at the new Faceless Fair, making sure everything remains in working order and that the mannequins don't go berserk and kill any of the visitors.
Helianth is at the Spelljammer, silently continuing to work on its star-devouring machine.
The Child is having a blast at the fair. Despite being really young, they don’t seem frightened at all by any of the attractions or hopefully non-murderous mannequins.
KK walks past, seeing that they seem to be having fun and smiling a bit behind her mask. Beside her is one of the mannequins- a humanoid one with all of its limbs being made of hands and forearms- which looks around at its surroundings with what seems to be interest.
The child runs up to KK and the mannequin, pointing at the mannequin with glee, chuckling. “Wow, that’s so cool!” they boop the mannequin on where their nose would be with their scepter.
“With all fairness the result may be similar, though I am strong enough to kill anything that may come of it.” He takes a skull from off his belt and shows it to them.
She refills their glass slowly “I would never kill anyone unless they deserved it, and from what I can tell, you don’t.” She begins sipping.
“Alright… what types of animals would be good test subjects?”
”well, thats good, I suppose. Do you want to know one downside of being a god?” He says, summoning his own glass of some goldenish liquid.
“Canines seem to have the most similar results to humanoids when consumed.” He puts the skull down nearby.
She pushes her veil from hiding her eyes, a piercing blood red “Ah, I feel I would want to know, even if I am never to meet a god ever again. Is it a crushing loneliness?”
Ichigo is out in a secluded part of the forest where he can't hurt anyone, enraged to the point it looks like fire is coming off of his armor. Every trees every rock, and every plant around his in a 30 ft radius has been scorched into nothingness by his aura. The big seem ravenous, feasting on anything, including the dirt. He is cursing everything under the sun, him losing Felix, the fact he can barely hold his body together, everything and anything.
Samaritan is outside the tavern, reading a book on how to express emotions because, thanks to his RBF, he constantly looks grumpy.
Angél is preening their wings, humming softly. They appear to be making some sort ofashed fruit salad, made of cranberries, figs, pomegranate, and pinecones.
*You don’t even have to ask, I’m glad you’re here, who you want?*
*Merabelle, John, and anyone else*
*Of course my good man.*
Merabelle is gathering firewood to keep Omori warm, unbothered by the cold, wearing what is necessary in terms of clothing but not much else, leaning into her origins as a Goliath.
John is taking a nap in one of the chairs on the porch of the Inn, tapping into his fatherly ability to fall asleep sitting straight up, and snoring like a beast.
Damian is cooking in the kitchen, getting more flashy with it with time, tossing knifes and catching them, cooking meat with fire spells, smiling wide.
“Not much… I’ve just been making it day to day. Trying my best.”
“When people refer to me, they dub me Eito.”
"And you're Ace. I meant like, the way I adore Felix." She says, shoving his arm.
"Same here..." she sighs, bringing her kids back over to her. She smiles. "I loved you, you know..."
"A charming name. Are you a deity as well?"
“Oh good.” He says, relieved. “I’m honestly not sure how I’d deal with that if you weren’t.”
He goes utterly silent and blushes deeply. “B-but… children? And I thought… Alix?”
“Certainly not. After all, there is only One. I am but a vessel to receive Their light.”
"you think me a cheater?..." She frowns, "Well, I'd be lying if said i didnt think about you in that way. though, i met you before damian"
"Past tense, sweetie. Yeah, i know. That's why i feel comfy telling you,I've settled down. That, and you broke me..."
"You must think I'm Them, then." he chuckles. "That, or, I'm not truly A God... but, you receive the light well, you are beautiful."
“…” Thirteen’s expression is blank.
“I… broke you?”
“Perhaps you are some form or incarnation of divinity. But there is no way for me to know, since if you are truly God you are unknowable. And you think me beautiful? That is a very kind statement. I am flawed, sadly.”
"Im a bun, though, so... Not Exactly a prude.."
"You refused your duties as the Wielder, i held a deep, possibly misguided, affection for you... and, i had spent most of my free life preparing to carry out my side of the Prophesy... i had no purpose..."
"Arent we all?~" he asks, cupping their chin with a paw, chirping.
“I’m not joining a polycule with you, Saphuno. I am aromantic and asexual and I don’t know if Damian would even accept that if I wasn’t and I wanted to.”
“I… I’m sorry. I guess I just didn’t want to have to live out some prophecy and sacrifice my old life… but I never thought about how it affected you.”
Eito smiles faintly. “When I say flawed, I mean that I am actively a being that cannot fully reach the enlightenment and perfection and oneness with God that others can. My duty is ever to serve as a prophet, forever sealed out of other worlds beyond this one in the physical sense. However, my mind travels to worlds hitherto unknown. But perhaps oneness with God can be pursued in other ways…”
"I don't want that, Damn it!" She says, slamming a fist onto the counter. "I liked you that way, but I adore you the way I do Felix. A friend..." she sighs.
"I accept your apology. Funny phrasing, isn't it?..." She ruffles the hair of one of her kids, smiling. "But, oh well. You ruined my life, but I built a new one. I don't harbor any hate for you anymore."
"I know what you mean... I can't feel His light anymore, not often, anyway. Ever since I got this" He says, pulling out a black notebook "My connection with The Big Guy has been a bit fuzzy. I only feel Him when I'm not holding the book."
*oh I was thinking we could start a new one since so much time has passed*
"Okay. Well, glad to hear that, at least."
"..." Klei is quiet. He has very little to add, and feels awful right now.
"What is that object?"
