She's unnoticed, until the tap, mind you. he looks over to her, smiling weakly. "Hello, can I help you?"
She sizes up Marie in both dresses... She thinks for some time. "I think they're both beautiful, but the black calls more attention to the rest of you, your face and your friendly, cute little snakes."
His eyes shoot open as he coughs up water "Huh? What did you say? You love your dad?" Making sure not to get too much water on the ground.
She looks down at them, leaning closer to their face, giving a predatory smile "I do believe that you can."
She looks at the dresses, before putting away the red dress, "You're right, and my fiancee is going to get me a blood ruby, its best I not wear red huh?" She holds out a hand "Marie, nice to meet you."
"Oh, that's what wakes you up?" she rolls her eyes, sitting at the table he's on. "You heard me."
He frowns softly, a bit timid. "H-how?..."
"Too much red, indeed." she smiles, taking their hand. "Lilac, a pleasure. Blood ruby, huh? Beautiful."
He chuckles, rolling onto his back, turning his head to the side "I did, especially the stupid part. How are those powers treating you?"
She raises up a clawed hand, tapping a claw against her chin "Mmmm. Maybe just a talk."
"Jax spoils me with such things. What are you doing here Lilac? If I may ask." She says, putting the dress over her arm.
"I daresay well as of late. Though, I didn't expect the hibernation." she chuckles softly, horns flickering.
He mutters something under his breathe, and it sounds like a prayer, or a call for help, to the Duchess. He sighs "Okay, fine."
"Shopping for an excuisite dress such as yourself. I am to be wed very soon, though, sadly to a man who i will outlive..." she grows a bit sad.
"Sometimes we all have to take naps, just look at how you found me." He shrugs, smiling at her and pushing himself up.
She makes a gesture, and suddenly there are two wine glasses in her hands, "Would you like a drink?" She asks, passing them one.
"You are getting married as well? I'm sorry to hear that you are going to outlive them, but I hope you cherish the time you have."
