He shakes his head, taking a deep breath, closing his eyes “I just… I’ve never been one who liked killin’ people or animals, my brothers and sisters didn’t like that.” He says, thinking about his family.
"Oh no, I'm sorry.." she holds him gently.
He shakes his head again, holding onto her “They cared about me, an’ most of ‘em still do, but… I’m so weak compared to the rest of ‘em.”
"You. Aren't. Weak." She said, her tone suddenly stern "You are amazing, handsome, creative, inventive, and so much more."
He looks up to them, looking into their eyes, before hugging them even tighter, “Ya really think so?” He asks, resting his head on their shoulder.
She nods, eyes glowing brightly.
It means a lot for her to say that, leaning into her, and crying just a little bit, rubbing her back.
Omi sits in the recliner, a large one clearly built for two. "This isn't story time, love. Come, sit up here with me." he chuckles
His ears twitch, and he nods. "I see. How long have I been here?... a month clean now?... wow."
"Sure." Yod follows after him inside.
Eito nods and sits down next to him, as close as possible.
"That's great! I'm really proud of you." He smiles genuinely.
He follows a waiter to a table for two. Cevin sits down after pulling Yod's chair out.
"Now, here she is.." he says, drawing up the book. It's about the minute changes in animal's behavior during season changes, the ph of soil affecting roots, and all sorts of other Autumnal Facts and observations.
"When do I get a cigarette?" he asks, preparing to summon one, or a waffle if he can't.
"Thank you..." Yod takes a seat, smiling. "You're real considerate."
Eito reads, enraptured.
"Preferably? Not in the foreseeable future." Rio is clearly limiting the warlock abilities he conferred, since a waffle materializes instead.
"I try to be." he says, smiling back. He peruses the menu, humming. "D'you drink?" he says, looking at the wine section
The page he's on reads. "In the midst of the end of winter, without prompting them to, I saw that the birds began to come about once more, finding sticks and twigs to refurbish their homes with. It was fascinating to watch this phenomenon, something I observe every end of winter, when I'm outside of my Autumnal space, that is. Of course, this phenomenon occurs in places that abide by the ebb and obb of the seasons..."
"[GP] waffle..." he says sadly, taking an angry bite. "Best sponsor ever, I guess." he says genuinely.
"Not a ton, but some."
Eito nuzzles up against Omi as they continue to read.
"I try."
"Want to split a red?"
Omi holds them, an arm around them. "Is it good? or just okay?" he asks, clearly doubtful in his work.
"Let's play a game." he says, setting some dice on the table.
“Okay. But I‘ll pay.”
“It is very good. It serves as both a scientific account and an ode to nature’s wonder.”
“Do what now?”
"If you insist." he says, smiling and perusing the rest of the menu
"I'm glad you think so. My next volume is going to be about the behaviors of animals in Aspen." he says, back to thinking about it. He smiles at them, kissing them.
"A game. two d-sixes. Roll them one at a time, and who ever gets the highest total wins. Can you tell I'm bored?..."
*if its alright with you i was kinda thinking we could start new interactions aside from Yod and Cevin's date*
"What are you thinking about getting?"

No news is good news…
I'll lay a white rose on the cold earth, knowing it that it has not claimed your soul.
He looks at them, rubbing his eyes for a moment, sighing deeply “I’m… just so… tired, ya know?” He says, just drinking from the bottle instead.
“Would you like me to tell you what I still remember about myself? My apologies.”
“Yeah. You’ve been through a lot and there’s a lot on you right now. But you can make it through it.”
“Oh yeah sorry I misheard you. Sure.”
“It ain’t nothin’ new, life ain’t ever been easy since I was back at the orphanage, an’ even then…” He puts the bottle down, sitting next to them.
She begins to tell them a long story of traveling through a vast desert, living in what she describes as a den of snakes, which explains more about her appearance, her home distant and destroyed, leaving her alone to travel the world with no real home left.
"Well, life's never easy. But I guess if it was, it wouldn't be as meaningful. For some people, at least."
Mala listens closely to every word.
“Yeah, I guess yer right ‘bout that ain’t ya? Do ya want anythin’ ta eat?” He asks, putting on the heart covered mittens and his ‘kiss the cook’ apron.
Once she’s done, she concluding with explain how she got here, on an expedition’s end.
She cuddles up to them, humming the song in between kissing their cheek.
"Okay..." he says, blinking a bit, stretching. "Where are we?... like, town wise."
Once he sees they've stopped chasing the cart, he stops the horses. "You did something... okay, cool.. we're good now." he begins to breathe heavily, adrenaline tapering off.
(Good place to end it?)
He feels the drowsiness in himself fading as she looks out of the wagon's curtained windows "We are only an hour away. Would you like to do anything in that hour?”
"You are safe my dear, consider them handled." He closes his book, sitting next to them as they stop the horses "Deep breaths, I wouldn't let you get hurt under any circumstances."

He begins to cook something, humming to himself “How’re ya doin’?”
“I haven’t yet been here long, but from what my friends have told, it is a good place indeed.”
Ashi is outside, bandaging her wrists, palms, ankles, and feet. Before stand a wooden dummy with already marks on it from previous beatings. She slithers almost, delivering a flurry of blows to the wood. It doesn't seem to hurt her, the pure force of her hands and feet hitting it. She is dressed in a black sports bra and a pair of black shorts.
Malafasa watches, perched in the tree line.
Ashi turns to her, smiling "Hey there."
“Hi…” She croaks, looking tired.
"Oh dear, are you okay?" She asks and looks up, placing a hand against the tree.
“Same as usual.”
"Mind if I sit with you?" She asked, genuinely concerned.
“You can sit.” She nods, hopping off the branch and landing beside her.
She smiles and snuggles up to her "You want anything hon?"
Mala flushes violently. “…n…no… but thanks…”
She nods and holds her "Tell me if you do okay? I wanna see you happy."
“Thanks so much…” She sighs, leaning back against Ashi.
She gently runs a hand down her feathers, humming softly.
Her coat stands on end but she doesn't recoil in the slightest.
She lets go, feeling her stand up a bit "Ack sorry."
He shakes his head, taking a deep breath, closing his eyes “I just… I’ve never been one who liked killin’ people or animals, my brothers and sisters didn’t like that.” He says, thinking about his family.

"Two rounds, right now.... Please?" he says, remembering his manners.
He calms down, nodding. "Right. Thank you. Apparently they know, er, knew, a different set of manners than you or I."
(Don’t have a preference, sorry)
She smiles softly at them, closing the curtains back up. She locks the wagon doors (Pm or implied?)
