"And somehow, I am not surprised..." They mutter, continuing to pet. "Anything else I might want to know? How has the Many of Helios been?"
'They are doing very well. Greg has been an outstanding leader from what I have seen but... There is an issue .."
Raphael flinches slightly at hearing this. “What issue?”
"A man by the name of Oswald has taken it upon himself to building houses for your people but he has forced it so if anyone wants to live there, they must work for him."
They ponder this. “Mmm… and what is know of this man?”

"Soul binding to machines and Experimental Mechanics.' he says, standing back straight and ridged.
Yuri watches this all with a look of amusement on her face.
"Soul machines... that needs some innovation. And as we all know, discovery requires experimentation." He walks to his desk and writes something on a small piece of sturdy-looking paper that already has text printed on it. "Have any examples of your work?"
Yuri peers over to read it before moving behind him and hugging him like a clingy child.
Edward thinks for a moment and grins "Give me ten minutes and a pile of scrap and I can get something together for you."
It's a check. It's made out to Edward Merrymarkle, but it doesn't say how much yet. "Okay. There's a workshop downstairs. Come back with something brilliant."
He disappears down out of the room and down the hall. Yuri chuckles lightly "He is a good lad. Little harebrained but he built that Arcane Core I gave you."
"Impressive. Is he able to work under pressure, though?"

"You worship a god of light. Of the sun." He takes a deep breath through his teeth. "But... this Helios figure doesn't seem too bad. It still baffles me that anyone would choose light as their domain."
"That would be nice. Unexpected, surely, but nice."
They are con-puzzled by the seemingly human. "Well this seems a bit all to much for me. Um... I'm sure, sir, that Helios 'chose' who they are due to wisdom beyond my understanding. Seems the answer to many things."
The angel chuckles, "It is the least I can do to repay you." They state, before shifting into their mutliwinged Solar form, mount Sytsco on their shoulders, fly up, and take off. You do not like being carried?

Crie smiles strangely. "The fire itself is beautiful in its own way, yes. But ah, my son, nothing compares to the beauty of this earth. Fire is the only light I can stand these days. Everything else makes me sick. Perhaps it's because fire is natural, and belongs to the earth, and not so often corrupted like the sun has become in its age."
Donn picks them up again and sits down, handing them the brandy.
"But of course. It is own, it is a stand alone compared to the sun. It's right here with omus rather than millions of miles away. It's natural, and is beautiful. It takes care of undergrowth that is killing the trees so new life can make way. It burns trees when lighting strikes the dried wood."
The Egregore seems heavier just by virtue of being around the dark overlord.
He nods, thinking. "Perhaps that's how the Divine Light got the sun so easily. Converted it into a symbol of itself. It sickens me, literally and metaphorically. It burns away my Nielle. It's the one thing keeping me from freeing this world from the oppression of light."
