"I was thinking more like the void between worlds. That would be easier. But Carceri works. Less likely to get me in trouble anyway." He's still holding the platter with the roasted fish.
Thirteen suddenly realizes that people do nice things. “…say… that fish…”
"Yes, it is for you. I got my hands on the tarrasque scales, but I'm afraid I forgot what I was supposed to use them for. I still promised you a fish, so I could bring you this at least."
“…” Thirteen takes it gently. He looks on the verge of tears.
Sytosc doesn't seem to have a strong response to this (shocking development). "Please enjoy it. I used ingredients I believed you might be familiar with in order to recapture the experience as well as possible using my limited knowledge." He tilts his upper body slightly in what must be a bow.
“This is one of the nicest things anyone has ever done for me.” Thirteen says, a bit shakily.
"Not unexpected, but not good either." He folds his hands behind his back. "You need to make better friends."
“I have fine friends. It’s just that you’ve barely met me.”

Ani is dressing a skeleton up in armor in the woods
Jack is working despite his remaining injuries
Rory is sat on the front porch of his shrine
Corpses litter the woods
*ohohohoho~*
Eito enters the area, looking unimpressed.
Rory smiles, "Hello there, how can I help you?"
“You are the priest attending this shrine?”
He nods, standing up and brushing off his priest robes, "Yes, I'm the shrinekeeper."
“Indeed! I am a shrinekeeper as well, not too far from here as a matter of fact!”
"Oh, it's lovely to see another shrinekeeper around" the blindfolded human smiles warmly
“Well, this shrine is slightly different from my own… it’s a lot nicer…”
"Thank you, I take pride in how I take care of this place" He hums, "Though I'm sure yours is nice too."
“I did sculpt it by hand… and brought it over four planes…”
"Impressive. My shrine is in a sense always with me aswell, but this is where I offer help to people who need it."
“So to what religion or deity is this place devoted to?”
"Ah, it's complicated. We don't belong to a god, but in the cases of when someone needs one, we typically turn to the gods of light, usually Ilmater in particular." He smiles, offering the fellow shrinekeeper to enter the shrine with them
"Expensive, for one. I could only get my hands on them because my parents trade in the stuff. Due to Thalacrose-induced 'evolution,' heavy enough doses have physical and psychoactive effects, usually very... unpleasant. When measured properly, they are delicious and perfectly safe. Needless to say, 'safe' isn't my style. I like to make my own mixes of these. Would you like to try one?"
"Of course, since you are offering it." He smiles and picks up the middle one.
"That one has a sort of spicy taste with hints of acid. It's a mixture of deleriants, irritants, and anesthetics that create hallucinations when combined and dosed high enough. You won't even realize that you're under the effects until you notice that your nose is running, eyes are watering, and you lose your sense of balance."
"Hm.. I feel like that would go good with soups then.." he said, thinking aloud.
"I can imagine it going well with potato and leek. Not very Italian, but still good. Might spice it up a bit."

William is sitting on the roof of his restaurant, sketching a picture of the dying sunset. He is sipping an espresso while doing so, humming to himself.
Anyone who wanders into the forest finds a baby black goat, bleating loudly. It looks to be searching for something or other. It's eyes are bright gold, like a shiny coin.
Richard is hovering outside Rory's shrine, glaring at anyone who dares to enter. The disguised Pit Fiend is smoking a pipe.

Rory is currently talking to what seems like another shrinekeeper
