"Hello, little one." She says gently from the behind the counter a few feet from him. "Welcome to Aspen Cafe."
He backsteps, moving from foot to foot, kicking and punching at the air in front of him “Come on, hit back, I can take the hit, I’ve taken worse.”
The child looks up to them, tilting their head, milky confused eyes looking back at them “C-…cafe?” They are wearing a small school uniform.
"Oh, not this you haven't..." The scenery changes, and Salem disappears. Around [name] is the place associated with his biggest regret.
"Yes, child. A cafe. A restaraunt?" She says, holding her paws together.
Around suddenly is what appears to be an underground facility, and Shen looks around with a smile “What is this? Why are we at Union headquarters.”
They put their hands behind their back, nodding slowly “Y-yes, okay. Can… can I eat?”
"Showing you what makes you weak. Bringing you pain nobody else but me can dish out, because it's the same type of pain I heal."
"Sure, i'd be happy to take your order, sweet-heart." she says softly, warmly, and gently.
They wait, and wait and wait until Shen says “What did you expect something to happen? I don’t have any bad memories I’m not at peace with, that’s how life goes.” He shrugs, eyes closed with a little grin
They nod, looking to the menu, before asking for a simple biscuit and water “I-if you don’t m-mind it ma’am.”
