Neave sighs. Shadow goes 2D again, and dark, wispy smoke curls out from underneath Neave's cloak. He mutters a profanity, and takes out an elaborately styled amulet, dusting it off and muttering a couple words in a language Johnny doesn't understand.
He rolls his eyes as he watches them, putting Matilda in his lap. Suddenly Neave can hear the soft voice of a German woman, accent incredibly defined "No profanity." She whispers, before the presence disappears.
