Yeah, PFP is slang/an acronym for Profile Picture.
I vote we call it an acronym, because otherwise I've been using slang, which kinda goes against my personal beliefs.
not using slang is against your personal beliefs? I get if you just mean gen alpha stuff.. but do you realize how much slang there is? A lot of it is so commonplace its not even thought of as slang
I do mostly mean the more 'modern' slang. It honestly seems like it's mostly nonsense that adds nothing to a conversation.

Not really. Some people have preferences that they don't like to veer from. Whether that's gaming, music, etc.
While my main preference is for sure D&D (because I've been playing since 1st/2nd Edition, so I've invested so much into it) - there are only a few other games I would play that are outside of it; and most of those are because I am familiar with the franchise (for example, any Star Wars pen and paper, I am down to play, because even if I can't fully understand the gaming system, I can fake it till I make it because I am very familiar with Star Wars), same with super hero themed pen and paper.
But I played World of Darkness... several games of Mage, Werewolf. Hunter, Vampire from that genre of games... I did manage to enjoy myself, because of the character personalities I created (but I never ever fully understood the gaming system/mechanics/dice)... and I played Warhammer (again, same, never understood the game/mechanics/dice)... I played Delta Green (several games of it)... and also never understood the mechanics... and of them, probably my least favorite of the above, because it relied so much on maintaining sanity.... and definitely never understood mechanics/dice... that one I felt like I limped along. :D
Feeling cheerful Which is not normal maybe its the PFP How about you?
Good, I can't complain too much. Although, forgive my ignorance - what's PFP? Unless ye mean yer holiday spirit profile photo? :)

By definition it wouldn't be an acronym however -
; instead, it is formed from the initial letters of a phrase.
Acronym: Formed from the first letter or letters of a series of words and pronounced as a word (e.g., NATO for North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, RADAR for RAdio Detection And Ranging).
And PFP - the "f" coming from "file" of the word "profile" would not be an acronym. The proper acronym for "profile photo" would be "PP." Or "ProP".... :D

I mean, it does take time to understand things. I get what you’re saying though. It’s mostly just that if the DM wants to play other systems it seems only fair, they’re doing the work of getting the game together and planning everything often. While you should try to make players happy you’re also kind of the head of the group, and should also be able to do what you want to do

Yes, but as the DM, you certainly want to provide an entertaining time. Why play a gaming system that the players may not enjoy just because you want to. It'd be better (in my opinion) to check with the players first; if they're not interested, see if you can find players who are - and then, perhaps alternate the games - say for example, you normally DM weekly on Tuesday a D*D game - do it so every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, you DM the D&D game, every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month you DM Random_Other_Game for those players). That way, you as the DM get the best of both worlds.
For example, I bought the Free League Lord of the Rings 5e - all of the books. I am dying to run a game through that because of my passion for Lord of the Rings and Tolkien. However, all of my games are knee deep in D&D with epic, long stories - and no one wants to take a break from it to play Lord of the Rings 5e even though it's still D&D. I also got back into the old game Star Frontiers and would love to run that with my players, but it's the same situation - all the games I run have been running for awhile and knee deep in story - so no one wants to take a break from it. So I, as a DM, don't want to force that on them to play in a game that I am so hungry to run, because I still very much enjoy running my D&D game.

Hey! I'm back. I disappeared for a few months their, lol. Trying to be on more. We'll see *shrug*

What is the craziest plan you've made that actually worked in game?

Hey, It's me, RaccoonMaster! I'm back! I disappeared for a while there, and I'm very sporadic when I'm online lol.
I'm an actor, writer, singer (opera, musical theatre, and rock are my preferred genres), backpacker, and tall person (6'5 and counting). Pronouns are whatever, I mostly use They/Them though.
My Characters: Elsenia Selevarum:The Popular Paladin, Aasimar Noble, Level 2 Paladin of Conquest;

So this was fun! I had created a d100 chart; and each round the two players had to roll 1d100 to see what even triggered during this large scale war, and the idea was originally to reach 100 Morale (though when I did the Morale table, I did it with the same mind set of when I usually have 4 to 6 players), so we reduced it down to 50 Morale during the game; but then a troll showed up (rolled on the table) and I made an agreement we would need to go to 75 if they wanted to fight the troll. They agreed, and it made for an epic moment.
I then took those randomly rolled events, and in my recap to try and write it in a more "story format" did so - finding ways to tie the events in logically/story wise. I didn't go through EVERY event that triggered, I did go through MOST and I even did it in the order they were rolled, which was a fun challenge to do.

Wasn’t really a crazy plan, but my aasimar rogue once killed a fire giant by Sneak Attacking him with a Frost Brand rapier.
I really like D&D, especially Ravenloft, Exandria and the Upside Down from Stranger Things. My pronouns are she/they (genderfae).
So this was fun! The page has the event table AND the rolls that were rolled (on the side) so you can match it along with the story pretty much.
