So this was fun! I had created a d100 chart; and each round the two players had to roll 1d100 to see what even triggered during this large scale war, and the idea was originally to reach 100 Morale (though when I did the Morale table, I did it with the same mind set of when I usually have 4 to 6 players), so we reduced it down to 50 Morale during the game; but then a troll showed up (rolled on the table) and I made an agreement we would need to go to 75 if they wanted to fight the troll. They agreed, and it made for an epic moment.
I then took those randomly rolled events, and in my recap to try and write it in a more "story format" did so - finding ways to tie the events in logically/story wise. I didn't go through EVERY event that triggered, I did go through MOST and I even did it in the order they were rolled, which was a fun challenge to do.

I haven't posted in a while and I never dared to mention this while I was an active user. But has anybody noticed how mods & admins seem to have super inflated post counts? For example, Davyd has 37,000 posts and 443 pages of posts, while Sposta has 34,600 posts and 2,360 pages of posts.
A similar phenomenon appears to be true of every mod/admin profile I examine. Am I missing something here or is this genuinely strange? Perhaps edits mods make to posts count as posts? I don't know but I have always thought this was bizarre and I'm surprised I never saw conversation of it.

There is undoubtedly - based on forums I've run - an Admin/Moderator section that is only visible to them to report things (whether that's a user's posts, or posts to admins to let them know of bugs and such).
A couple of things here 1) it actually makes sense that the admins/ mods have large numbers of posts - they aren’t responding to just a few favorite threads they are reading and responding to essentially all threads. Further they have (mostly) been here the longest so they have simply accumulated large numbers of posts over time - nothing needs to be “ inflated” 2) to the best of my knowledge Sposta is not an admin/mod - they have just been here forever and are very skilled at using the features here and has chosen to be helpful. I know from private chats that Sposta has recieved a number of warnings ( as have I) and suspensions for posts that push various limits - not something that would happen to an admin/mod.

That makes sense. That honestly might explain the whole phenomenom.

I don't think anything needs to be inflated and I agree that they have a lot of posts. The odd thing is not the post count. It's the high post counts in conjunction with the lower number of pages of publicly available posts in their profile.

Oh yeah, I know. Sposta is awesome. I just used him as an example because he's made a similar amount of posts as Davyd. I don't think Sposta's post count is inflated at all.
And it is true that many normal users have to deal with warnings while mods don't. But the confusing bit is still the post count vs. number of pages of posts in the profile, which this doesn't fully explain. But I think Tawmis is probably right and the mods have some sort of private forums where they make posts that count towards their post count but aren't publicly available. I hadn't really thought of it before but it would explain this discrepency.

Yeah, it's common for Mods & Admins to have a forum for discussing issues/people/bugs/etc. I've run about six different forums in my time, and been a moderator for... can't count how many lol... and that was always a formula.
Why back in my day (said in a very old voice), when we used to use dial up and connect to bulletin board systems better known as BBS...

The page has the event table AND the rolls that were rolled (on the side) so you can match it along with the story pretty much.

Party was chasing after a Wight with a foul weapon... and then a giant spider queen...
I summarized the heck out of the two battles, because they were freaking long... lol
