Ollister finds someplace to sit, pulls out his weathered sketchbook, and begins drawing in it with a pencil with many deep chew marks. Most of the leaves have fallen off by now revealing his features. He is a lean man with unkept hair, bright green, inquisitive eyes, and a natural smile.  'Hey, whatcha sketching?'

 He looks up, "Oh I am just touching up on some earlier work." He shows you an image of a creature called a dragonmole that looks like a fury creature with big claws, a dragonlike head, and a smoking snout. The sketch is well done, though it looks like it was done in a hurry. Part of the page appears burnt. Notes and marginalia have been scribbled all over the pages. 

 Siberius gets up and looks at the sketch. "Oh my! That's so good!"

 He grins, “Thank you very much! I was able to sketch this young dragon mole as it dug its way out of the ground after hatching. I had to wait for four whole days with no food and little water but I managed to catch sight of it as it first crawled onto the surface world. Unfortunately, the dragon mole was as hungry as I was after four days without food and I lost one and a half of my toes to the beast.”

”Are you really interested in my work? Have you read my book, Critterquil’s Critterpedia? Are you a lover and fearer of the wild, wonderful world of nibbling, squatting, gobbling, munching, burping, squealing, roaring, squelching, soaring, swimming, wriggling, writhing, gnawing critters and creatures the Maker has blessed us with?” He looks very hopeful.

'I mean, I like some creatures. Mainly rats though to be honest. And nah, I haven't read your book. The only books I have are the ones I can find for myself. I mean, I probably could afford them, but I never buy anything if I don't have to. Gold is for hoarding, not for spending. But it sounds like a good book'

Oslo is waiting in the store, a little less anxious then before.

 Siberius looks at Flint, the two are just inches apart from one another. "So mind if I know why you brought me down here?"

"Hello?" He's scared it might be the thieves.

'Because I'm enjoying talking to you, and I have to be down here. Ya very close?'
