'Dead. Guards kicked my ass. Luckily, think they thought I was dead and chucked me down the corpse chute. Pretty much crawled all the way back here. But I don't care. I lost Ash. I'm the worst husband ever'

'I'm weak. Pathetic. I belong in the sewers. And dumb, Dumb on top of all of that. If I had been smarter, I could have saved her.'

'We will? I like the sound of we. Maybe, if I'm not strong or smart enough alone, maybe with more of us...' he seems faintly hopeful. 

'We will. I know where she was, I've got the local drains memorised, I thought I'd done everything right. Turns out it wasn't enough. I wasn't enough.'

'You do that. Anything for Ash. We will get her back. Is there anything I can do now? Send the rats on a search?'

'ok, sure.' He heads for the bathrooms and slithers down the toilet. He doesn't feel up to sleeping in his and Ashleigh's room.

'Ash? Is that you?'

'Ok, great! How are you? Where are you?'

'I swear we'll find you. Kymberly, Meredith, me, Gold, we're all coming to find you. You'll let me know how you are, right? I'm so sorry Ash'

He sits back against the wall, leaving a filthy stain on his back. He doesn't care, and not because of his bad hygiene. He is just miserable
