Also, all that talk on colours is so cool actually. @Yons sig: It seems purple is 4th for me, still an awesome colour. Midnight Blue, Sunset Orange and Emerald Green are at the top for me!
I agree; the colors discussion is pretty cool.
As for my answer to Yon's question: I'd say I have three main favorite colors, those being purple, silver, and black.
Purple because it can fit multiple different vibes, whether you want a more dramatic and royal-seeming color, or a mellow and calming lavender hue. Plus, in the context of D&D, there's purple worms, which are one of my favorite monsters simply because of how fun they are to run in combat.
Silver, because it reminds me, in a sort of roundabout way, of themes of virtue and truth. I'm also kind of a big nerd about fae in media and the older folktales, and the silvery color reminds of iron and- well, silver- which a lot of fae have interesting interactions with. The whole fae correlation might have something to do with those themes of truth, now that I think of it...
Finally, black, because it reminds me of the night sky and space as a whole: Another of my favorite things I tend to geek out about. The fact that there is so much out there that we haven't even begun to discover, and that everything is so inconceivably gargantuan in scale... I find it all exciting. It's also the color of ink, which reminds me of books and writing and drawing.
Black is so cool. That's I'll imma say, cuz otherwise I'd just restate what you said XD

The king doesn't mind as long as its not in the way of anyone. You do notice a perfect little corner though, not too far from the guilds entrance but also close to the kingdom market, that's out of the way and comfortable.
Yondor points, and they head to the corner, taking a liking to it. He plants the staff, it enlarges, and the tree fuses perfectly with the ground, casting a nice shade around the nearby area. Before they even get to the top of the tree, a small group of children have started playing around the base of the trunk. "Just be careful there, kiddos, the vines can be grumpy sometimes!"
Before he goes inside the little hut at the top, he pauses, glancing at the children once more. He strokes his chin thoughtfully, then goes inside.
The wizard leaves Jasper to finish setting up a few tables and things for experimentation. He starts looking for any public gardens or such around the Guild, needing a few ingredients.
I assume he finds some, I hope? He also looks for a forge. He might come back to it later for something.

The hag's innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 17, +9 to hit with spell attacks). It can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:
At will: vicious mockery, friends, charm person
3/day each: suggestion, scrying, dimension door, hunger of hadar
1/day each: globe of invulnerability, mislead, delayed blast fireball
Thrives on anarchy.
If the Guillotine hag is within 60 feet of a creature hostile to it or one of it’s allies at the start of it’s turn, it can choose to create one of the following effects:
The Guillotine hag regains 5 hitpoints.
The Guillotine hag has advantage on all attack rolls, ability checks, and saving throws until the start of its next turn.
The Guillotine hag regains the use of one of her 3/day spells.
Horrific form.
If the Guillotine hag kills a creature that is friendly to her, the Guillotine absorbs the feelings of betrayal and hate in the creature, temporarily assuming a more powerful form for one minute and gaining the following benefits:
The Guillotine hag grows one size larger, and its speed increases to 40 feet.
The Guillotine hag’s claw attack does 4d10 slashing damage instead of 4d8.
The Guillotine hag’s thrives on anarchy ability extends to a range of 120 feet.
Actions
Claws.
Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 3d8+8 slashing damage.
Illusory appearance.
The hag covers herself and anything she is wearing or carrying with a magical illusion that makes her look like another creature of her general size and humanoid shape. The illusion ends if the hag takes a bonus action to end it or if she dies.
The changes wrought by this effect fail to hold up to physical inspection. For example, the hag could appear to have smooth skin, but someone touching her would feel her rough flesh. Otherwise, a creature must take an action to visually inspect the illusion and succeed on a DC 20 Intelligence (Investigation) check to discern that the hag is disguised.
Incite chaos (recharge 6).
The Guillotine hag forces three creatures within 30 ft to make a DC 17 wisdom saving throw. On a failure, the creature’s level of hostility to one creature of the hag’s choice that they can see shifts one stage towards hostile. Friendly to indifferent, and indifferent to hostile.
Reactions
Twisted words.
The Guillotine hag can change what one creature within 60 ft of it hears when a creature says something. This effect works as if the creature that said something had cast The Gift of Gab spell, without the 5 foot range limit.
Probably not very balanced and the CR is either way too high or way too low, probably the former.
but I just wanted to try and make a statblock for the idea.
anyways Guillotine hags are hags that feed off of anarchy. They spend years plotting to revolt against governments and royalty, getting the people on their side through magic and trickery, while deceiving the rulers to be horrible people through flattery and lies. They get stronger the more chaos there is, and often take control of cities for short periods of time after overthrowing the leaders, before pretending to be dethroned and coming back centuries later to do it again, thanks to the immortal life that comes with being a hag.

Sometime in the first half of last year I think it was, king dragon slayer, spider queen Yvonne, and Elsanova the robot left the guild after other adventures, to start on a new one. They flew into the stars, off to defeat a certain doctor, who had been attacking the guild and trying to kidnap Elsanova. This caused an alternate timeline to emerge, with another king, a copy of the old one, to run the guild in the absence of the queen. (this also happened because Yvonne left the forums for a little while, and all our main characters were in space, so we needed a new character to manage to guild for new roleplayers.) Anyways, to make this short, the trio failed in defeating the doctor, and arrived back at the guild. The alternate timeline king has succumbed to the pressure of the guild being attacked by the doctor and the gape, a massive crack in the ground that demons pour out of. He's lost everyone close to him in his timeline, and is just starting on a slight villain arc. The trio (consisting of Yvonne the spider queen, Elsanova the robot, and the king) fought with the new king (known as the spider king to avoid confusion) because the spider king is angry and confused at their existence, and the spider king seems to be coming out on top so far. The trio is currently trying to escape their own guild.*

Fey crossings are many and all are unique. They all resemble their material counterparts almost exactly yet are somehow wildly different. Fairy rings are often portals to the fey, but that is simply one very common example. Here’s a few that you could get inspiration from:
a rope tied to a tree above a rushing river. It is a normal rope unless someone swings across it on both the material and feywild side at once. Then, if they look enough alike, are of a similar profession or class, or are part of the same family, they swap places upon swinging back to the side of the river.
a lake that so perfectly reflects the light of one specific constellation, a hunter constellation on the material, and a wolf on the feywild Side. Only when both are reflecting the constellation at once does the crossing work, by diving to the bottom of the lake and resurfacing. The hunter and the wolf are somehow both visible if you look up from the bottom of the lake, the hunter appearing to stab the wolf.
a cliff side jutting out from a waterfall. The way to activate it is to jump down it into the mist of the waterfall, before falling up on the feywild side. This is because the feywild’s side is flowing directly into the sky, so you better be prepared to not fall onto solid rock. To go from the fey side to the material side, you jump into the waterfall’s mist as well, before suddenly falling down into the material side.
