Sectural chains envelop the Spider King, as he snarls, disappearing to a demiplane very close to here, as the king didn't have the energy to send him far. The trio can see the air rippling in places, from where the Spider King is punching the demiplane boundaries. "Let me out!!"
"We have 60 seconds... let's get out of here."
*That was awesome! And cinematic as heck!*
Yvonne and Elsa help the good King escape the Lair, for as long and as far as their legs and little remaining stamina allow them.
Amidais runs into the hall, seeing the ripples of demiplanar magic. "M- My liege! Is that you? Hold on, I'll- I'll find a way to get you out of there!"
*Yo thank you! This just keeps getting better and better.*
The trio are able to make it out into the city, the streets still quiet in the dead of night. The king staggers, knowing they have to move fast. "We... need to get to the citadel."
"Amidais! Those buggers- I may need your help to break out." The Spider Kings sword pokes out of what looks like thin air, as he cuts into the demiplane boundaries. Next, his hand reaches out, through the slice in space.
*Thought it could be fun to have Amidais try and pull the spider king back into this world lol.*
Yvonne helps the King walk, and Elsa watches out for danger. "I've got your back, Drummer. Just point us where we need to go." "-I'll stay with you two--- to the end. Promise."
Amidais is startled by the sword's blade appearing from seemingly nowhere *about a foot away from his midsection, at that*, but immediately leaps into action to assist his king, grabbing onto the Spider King's hand with both of his own. "Of course, your highness. I'll always put your needs first."

The king wonders what might be worrying her, but he realises that there's a lot of things to be worrying about right now. He decides he'll ask her about it when they reach the chamber.
The citadel is a massive domed building, made of marble and cobblestone. Moss and plants grow on and around it, but everything seems regulated, the people of the kingdom keeping the building in top shape. It glints in the moonlight, even with none of the people around you can sense the pride this public establishment generates. It doubles up as the holy church, runes in its walls and libraries in its halls.

Yvonne and Elsa look up at the citadel, Elsa admiring its grand architecture, and Yvonne relieved to be somewhere vaguely safe again. "-Incredible... such beautifully carved marble! I'm--- still not used to architecture--- that isn't strictly functional." Elsa approaches the building, looking up at the ceiling in wonder.
Yvonne pauses for a moment, glancing over to the King while running her fingers across an etched rune on the wall.
"Drummer, I'm... I'm not sure what to do. We've only been back here for a few days, and... so much has gone wrong. I'm scared for Elsa, for the Guild..."

the horrible place that is the Captain’s Cemetery is known for tearing up ships and sinking them, with its hundreds of slowly moving rocks that jut out of the water like teeth, moving at a speed of 5 ft per turn in a giant 1 mile circle, shredding through anything that gets in their way. Once the ships sink, any creatures besides the captain on the ship disappear, along with any treasure. They are transported to the feywild, where the Sailors cemetery is, the mirror to the Captain’s cemetery. The rocks there are the actual teeth of some sort of horrible beast, rumored to be a slumbering Kraken or perhaps even the sleeping king beneath the sea Jormungandr. But lairing inside the Sailor’s cemetery is an enormous, thousands of years old sea serpent that collects mountains of treasure from the Captain’s Cemetery and eats the creatures that travel with it. It almost never leaves its home, unless adventurers too strong for it arrive, where it flees and stirs the creature that make up the teeth, not waking it, but getting it to inhale the adventurers for it.
And here is a passage to the Feydark! (Feywild underdark)
Mammon’s Mouth is a large sinkhole in the middle of a small village to the north on the surface world. It is filled with hundreds upon hundreds of snakes, rats, and flies that rise from the depths every few days to wreak havoc, only being sated by treasure. Creatures that are pulled in by the monstrous animals and aren’t eaten fall for nine days straight before arriving at the feydark side, a twisting labyrinth of tunnels carved out by a coven of night hags. The Fey call this side Nicnevin’s Gut, because of the horrors that lurk in the cavern enjoy fairy flesh, and the night hags there serve Nicnevin, the Witch Queen.

Tidal rift
8th level spell
Duration: 10 minutes (concentration)
Components: V, S, M (a vial of water taken from a deep sea trench)
you open up a portal to the elemental plane of water at a point within 300 feet of you. The portal is a 20 ft tall circle, facing in a direction of your choice. The portal is one way, from the plane of water to the plane you cast it on. At the start of each turn, water shoots out from the portal in a 20 foot wide, 1,000 foot long line, dispersing into mist at the end of the line. Any creature that is in the water blast’s area must make a strength save and a Dexterity save. On a failure of a strength saving throw, the creature is pushed 100 feet down the line. On a success, they are pushed 25 feet down the line. On a failure of a dexterity saving throw, the creature takes 5d10 bludgeoning damage and 5d10 cold damage. On a success, the damage is halved. As an action on your turn, you can change the direction of the portal.

Ooh, maybe this encounter is the precursor to a side quest about a new parasitic variant of the black pudding, where it grows inside of the host's stomach until it's vomited out. Large creatures like ogres can cough up full-sized puddings, but Medium and Small creatures can only spit out smaller ones (with health proportional to their Split feature).
Perhaps there's a town plagued with an unusual illness, and the party is sent to figure out what it is. Everyone they meet in town looks to have the illness, clutching their stomachs in pain and eating way more than they normally would *to feed the growing puddings inside their guts*. Perhaps some people even developed a condition similar to pica, where they're craving and eating inedible substances.
According to the mayor, who could barely get the words out through their gut pain, it all started after a festival the town held a week before. They briefly mentioned a new food vendor that set up shop during the celebration, claiming they had 'the most delectable pudding on this side of the Sword Coast'...
