"That king was a... clone? I've seen weirder, I suppose. Anyway, here's the short version of who I am: Moonlight, a Ghostblood, which is an interplanetary organization of secrets, and mysteriously appeared in the Spider Guild somewhat recently, light-years, possibly galaxies away from the planet I was on before. I was hoping to build an alliance between the Spider Guild and Ghostbloods, once I can regain contact with the Ghostbloods, but it looks like this will be a bit more complicated now."
Moonlight turns to Elsa and Yvonne
"I don't think I've met you two yet. Or, well, any of you, technically. Anyway, I'd be happy to come with you, for now."
"Well, its at least good to know that you're not directly against us. That is, if you're being truthful."The king continues on down the stairs. "If we ever do make it out of this mess, which I feel like we've been in forever now, since we even left the guild originally, then I'd welcome another alliance. I'm sure Yvonne would too." He says, turning to the queen.
"I indeed would." Yvonne turns to Moonlight, offering a hand to shake. "I am Yvonne, former queen of the Spider Guild. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance."
Elsa is entirely amazed at Moonlight's brief backstory exposition, practically shaking with excitement. "-You came from light years--- away? That's incredible!"
The two are also continuing down the stairs during this, presumably along with Moonlight.
The king manages to smile at Elsa's enthusiasm, as he continues down with them, checking to make sure Moonlight is following.
Elsa quickly takes a look in Amidais' stolen spellbook, examining its contents: There is, indeed, a map of the city surrounding the Lair within its pages.
*Moonlight, does, in fact, follow, and shake Yvonne's hand*
"Says the automaton?" Moonlight asks Elsa, amused. "It would be a bit more incredible if I could find out how to get back. I do know of a way to travel great distances incredibly fast, but it will only work if I know what direction to go and how far away my destination is, and I haven't been able to locate Scadrial or any other nearby planets relative to here."

The Cognitive Realm is... similar to your Ethereal Plane, I think they might even be related, but unlike the Ethereal Plane, distance is extremely compressed in places where there are not sentient creatures. One is only able to travel between planets with perpendicularities, though I think I might have an idea on how to make one here. In this form, I could teleport in any direction, though I would still need to know the distance to travel. However, while in this form, I'm not myself, for a while even after the power wears off, and I act... erratically."

Hey Drummer, I come seeking your advice, as well as anyone else who might be able to help.
I have an idea for a forum game somewhat similar to your Sleepover games (which were awesome by the way). It would take place in the larger, more open world setting of a city overrun by the weirdest stuff. Lizardmen have replaced the cops, radios blare prophetic nonsense, zombie garbage collectors gather fine art to take to the dump, and bird seed is the main form of currency. A major inspiration for this is the True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys: National Anthem and Calvin and Hobbes. Both are incredibly different comics, but the "magic system" is a combination of the two. It revolves around nostalgic childhood memories and imaginations. Punk teens fight against monsters with plastic ray guns that fire blazing lasers when they shout "Pow!" and they dress in wacky outfits, using rubber masks you might find at a dollar store, 3-D glasses, and similar items. I realize this is really weird, maybe too weird for folks to get interested in, but I'd like to try and see if it works sometime.
I've been looking through some old similar taverns and games that had their own mechanic systems like Sleepover, Tick-Tock Diner, and Cryptid Cabin. My game will probably be a little more complicated rules wise than Sleepover, but I'm hoping to keep it simple. A large part of it will revolve around equipment that you start with and pickup along the way.
I think the game will be missions based. You'll start at a sort of home base, maybe a treehouse or a garage, I'm not sure yet, and there will be all sorts of missions to accomplish in this semi-post apocalyptic world where only teens who know how to use their imaginations and memories, whether painful or joyful, to fight against the monsters and Boogeymen that lurk in the city streets as well as the quiet suburbs.
So what do you think? I know it's really weird. Do you have any advice for running this sort of game?
Elsa is entirely engrossed in Moonlight's explanations, seeming to absorb all this information relatively well. They seem to be taking notes on a blank page of Amidais' book.

"-The doctor runs a large--- corporation back at Konton, my--- 'home world' in a sense. No doubt, they're using its--- revenue to fund their--- war machines. They're my--- creator, in a manner of--- speaking. I don't know why--- they want me to return--- to Konton, and I hope I--- never find out."
