The city of Splendor is a bustling place, with the citizen going about their daily lives. Metallic Dragons walk among the mortals, keeping watch and aiding them with guidance and conversation. Celestials train and keep watch, acting as a protective force for the Kingdom. Constructs of various shapes and sizes work and live alongside the mortals as well. The tallest building in the City is a massive temple that acts as part castle and part forge.
Lazarus walks among the streets, happy to have found some place not devoid of life.
"I would. I don't suppose I have any tasks to complete, so you can take as long as you wish."
"Let me tell you a tale of a cruel world."
"I will keep it short. In my old world, I was created by the gods as a mere weapon. I refused to allow myself to be used though. For my disobedience, they sent their wrath upon me. I did not go quietly, butchering them one by one, gaining more power until I faced off against their ruler. AT the end of my unholy war I chose to end my mad man's rampage. I took up pacifism. I then left my world in order to see others. Ones with a less cruel fate."
"I appreciate your desire for peace. I can tell that you have much destructive power, and it would likely be very imprecise to unleash much of it at once."
"I will raise my weapon against no being. The only time my blade shall sing out to the world is to parry an attack without reciprocation."
"How kind of you. Do you have a license for your- oh." It realizes something and seems disappointed.
"Is something wrong?" He asks, worried he may have offended them is some way.

Many of the mortals watch Lazarus curiously, the Dragons and Celestials watch as well, a bit more cautiously. No one bothers the Will however.

He decides to try and find the one who created this place.
Lazarus turns to face them. "I am not here to cause problems. Do you claim control and ownership over time?"
"yes. I am not the first, but all before me have faded. I do not bar you from manipulating it, but if you warp it against my will, you shall be eliminated"
"You can trust that I am here seeking to do no harm."
"very good. I am tempor, you are Lazarus. please tell me your name."
"Lazarus. You just said it."
"thank you. retrochronological learning, you know"
A thin line of light cuts through the air, nearly invisible at first. Then it begins to to spider outward with a cacophony of what sounds like an endless number of broken mirrors. It spreads outward like an incision in reality. Looking past the event horizon simply cannot be described. Suppendly, all sound ceases as a hooded figure steps out of the void. Their purple robes crackle with magical flame as the breach begins to reseal, the sound returning, in reverse this time, as it seems to rewind itself into place. Then all returns to normal. The figure looks around with a mild curiosity. This world is new. Different. Perhaps they will stay a while.
The Great One, Lazarus of Arcana, Strife, and War has arrived upon this world.
A figure made entirely of cracked, shifting glass touches down from the air in front of Lazarus. His eyes dance with a playful orange flame. Then the mini performance is over, and he stands there for a moment. "...sorry I haven't been around anyone in a while. I am Melos, god of music and fiyaa. And yourself?" (he's saying fire, just with some personality)
"I am Lazarus. I have come here from another world. This one seems different though, could you tell me about its inhabitants? So far you and a gecko are all I have seen."
He chuckles. "I'm not the best to talkt to about that, sadly. I go dormant sometimes, and haven't exactly interacted with many mortals besides my few followers, and the same goes for the other gods and such here. Things happen quite fast though, at least for me."

"Ah, interesting. I guess I would have had to tell you, even if you already knew. Otherwise your learning of my name would have no origin, creating a minor paradox."
"No. I had power, and I was not a leader. I was simply a cook, but they didn't change much of my programming from being a safety officer."
"A cook you say? Fascinating. I never had time for the culinary arts. Had a bit... much... on my hands."
"I would imagine so, what with your history. Unfortunately, it seems that I'm not the best cook. I failed my attempts to make Ambrosia. So poorly did I preform in fact, that my dishes were able to be recreated by machines with no human input."

"Phfft, machines... I'm sure you just were limited by your surroundings. Perhaps freedom from the shackles of your previous role will allow you to truly create at your full capacity."
Lazarus says, a slight reflection of how he once felt finding its way into his speech.

They would enter the large temple, finding many murals depicting a dragon with platinum scales and an army of floating magical swords doing various things such as building the temple and the city, and creating the metallic dragons. However the entity depicted isn’t present.

"It is possible. There were many restrictions, but they existed for reasons. However, upon reflecting upon them, most of them no longer apply due to me no longer living in a highly-populated city. Maybe... I've got some ideas..." He thinks. "Thank you, Lazarus."
