*Now I'm wondering. Since the underworld Faltros left behind rules the evil, and both the Unknowable and Mushisama have neutral underworlds, where do the good souls go when they die? My personal headcanon is that Herionidus would rule them if he were still alive nowadays, since it would make sense for those who did good things to be sent to eternal revelry for the rest of their (not) lives, but he, you know, isn't alive anymore. At least for now, if the rats are indeed resurrecting him.*
*I do have a will that deals with souls of the good, but only those who died in battle or had a death related to battle, such as casualties from a war*

They are silent for a few seconds, and don't seem bothered by their surroundings. "You know, I'm kinda surprised people are only just now noticing that I couldn't care less about these things. It's not like I've been hiding the fact that I don't care- not giving a damn, like, my whole thing."

He shrugs "Well most people assumed you had some kind of moral code considering you had the arrogance to judge others, but apparently you're the same scum you judge. And not caring is my thing, not yours." He says while sipping his wine "I would recommend you start caring if you plan to survive the winter though, wouldn't want to die to irony."

She clearly seems offended by his words, but can't articulate any sort of witty response- truly, they have no excuse for their actions or their fate. "...Well, it's a good thing I have plans to get power again. Not the same power, of course, but something else."

He sighs and shakes his head "Still haven't learned have you? Old and yet a child. You must learn to be content without power to be able to use it correctly." He says, like a parent disappointed with the words of their child "Young and foolish."

"Of course I'm not content with being able to do nothing! Besides, even if the best-case scenario happens, I'd still be dealing with a lot less power than I had before. Call me foolish all you want- I'm still ambitious."

"You aren't ambitious, you're stupid. You had power, you made a mistake and lost it all. You then turn around and try to get the power you lost back, even in a lesser degree that's entirely idiotic. You can do more than nothing, but you're too focused on what you no longer have to realize that."

They're visibly frustrated- but after a few seconds, they seem to give up on being mad: After all, they aren't a Will anymore, and he very much is. "...Well, sorry to disappoint, but I'm still going to try. I'll have a lot of time to be humble or whatever while I'm doing that."
