The hustle and bustle of the town square is an ordinary affair in the Cogintius's city. The smells of spices and street food, the calling of merchants peddling their wares. But a hush falls over the crowd as they turn their gaze to the sky, a strange shining glimmer high in the sky, getting larger... and larger...
It suddenly slams into the center of the town square, a massive swirling pillar of flame and ash. The statue dedicated to the M.O.O. it landed on is quickly enveloped and melted away into an unrecognizable lump of metal. The gasps and screams of the townspeople can be heard alongside the booming roar of the flaming column. It stays, spiraling in the center of the city, unmoving. The onlookers catch strange flashes through the flames, seeing shapes and figures standing in wait.

Herionidus is watching this from the very edge of his domain, wanting to go help, but he can’t.
As Herionidus watches (I'm assuming he's worried about mortals getting hurt or buildings burned), he notices the pillar of fire does not burn anything. It doesn't spread at all, just stays there mysteriously for unknown purposes. The only wreckage it caused was the M.O.O statue.

* yep! He’s chaotic good*
he waves his hands, and a cloud of fog drifts its way to the city, slowly coalescing into a mortal avatar of Herionidus to go and investigate the fire, and if it doesn’t damage anything, he’s gonna try to touch it. (This Avatar doesn’t have any powers and is basically just a human, but they can cast some Herionidus themed spells)

Cogintius is watching the scenario from the T.O.M, scratching his beard. "What could this mean?" He would have gone down to help, but he doesn't see any mortals getting hurt yet. Four old humans council with him, the elders of the city. (That's how the government works in the city, Cog is essentially the main ruler and the elders are his advisers and council)
He sees the avatar. "Herionidus? Is that you? Why are you made of fog?"

(Tarcza is the suffering of humanity god created by the Godless Ones, right?) Watching the flames from their towers, the pillar seems to wave to them all the way from the city.
