"I'm sorry 'cause there don't seem to be much point to yer business. What's the point of livin' if yer only livin' for yerself?"
”I…” she growls, retreating into the shadows. “Hate to admit it, but you do have a point. What else am I supposed to do, though?” As she retreats, her form slowly becomes more and more monstrous, more canine. “I don’t… I don’t care if you’re right, or if you’re wrong, or whatever you say, horned skeleton-thing… what does it matter to you, anyways?”
"It matters what everyone does with their life. You only get one." He stands silently for a moment, and you hear the buzzing sound of a rattler. He then spreads his skeletal arms wide, pulling his poncho open wide. Out of the gaping hole lope five coyotes with tawny fur and blood lapping tongues that hang loosely out of their snouts. "If you want to live a different life, then you are welcome to my ranch. Be a free member of my court. Inflict your disease, run rampant in my desert. My domain is a world of pain and death, for out of hardship comes strength and beauty and life. My land is a place of harsh brutal beauty, and you are welcome to it. Take these coyotes, my children, and come if you wish to use your flames to forge beauty rather than ashes."
She stalks closer to Crotalus, observing the coyotes with a malicious curiosity. “You… are inviting me to spread within your domain?” She whispers, looking up to Crotalus, a bit suspicious, and very intrigued. “You have my attention… a world of pain and death? I understand…” she sniffs the air, examining the coyotes closely. “This concept of your land… I have not heard of something like it before… it’s unique. It’s strange. It’s… perfect. Lead the way.” She hisses, drawing ever closer.
He makes a sweeping gesture with his stark, fleshless arms and there you are. Dry shrubs grow in sparse patches on the flat hard sands. Blood red mesas stand like ancient fortresses and the sun blazes violently in the sky. "The desert is my place and it is a place of honesty. Lush forests and fertile fields with their bounties lie that life is easy and comfortable. In my land, the sun spares no one its heat. The plants are thorned and pain-soaked. The earth is dry and hard. The beasts are savage and venomous. And, my friend, I find it all so terribly beautiful."
Lyssa, now in the sunlight, is bestial mix of lupine and human features. Sharp, long teeth, wild eyes, raven black hair, olive skin, canine claws and legs, matted fur along her arms and legs, she’d be fairly terrifying to mortals beholding her. She surveys the land, sniffing the air once again. “It’s dreadful. And it is perfect… do humans live in these dry lands?” Lyssa questions, stalking up to Crotalus, away from the coyotes.

The winter ice melts, opening the tunnels to the Afternest (Mushisama's afterlife). Hundreds of insects rush out and devour swiftly the trees that failed the season's frozen trial. Mushisama quickly follows them, and smiles at the glow of the light. "To escape the realm of banished to a life partly spent in shadow. But the rest I see beauty, and that greatly outweighs."
*Oh I do believe he’s rped with me before. Vaguely remember it.*
A heavy feeling fills the air around them as someone approaches. Appearing through shadows as the trees are consumed, a single vampire in a white Gi with dark skin, two blades at his side, one much larger than another. An apprentice of Slayer.

A few glowing lights rise and fade from the tunnel upon that sentence.

“Everything, then! So first things first-“ Olliphander’s voice turns into six separate voices, telling six separate stories at about twenty times the speed the human mind is capable of registering. It’s hard to keep track, even for a supercomputer. Olliphander speaks about many random things, big and small, very, very detailed stories that go on and on, and on, and on.

Mushisama turns their masked head to them, their multiple eyes blinking out of order. "Ah. Hello their child. I sense the Slayer on you. Might you be of his realm?" The insects pause their feast to turn and stare of the vampire.

Nagoriyuki looks at all of the insects, one hand resting on his blade as if preparing for something that may never come “Slayer was my master long ago, he taught me all that I know now. Who may you be, I am Nagoriyuki.” He says with a bow.
"Oh, please. No bows. Not yet. Perhaps after you die. I am Mushisama, previous God of the wilds, recent devil of decay." He gestures to the pile of animal bones scattered around the tunnel entrances, laying in a dark red goo. "Bless their idiotic souls." A few glowing lights rise and fade from the tunnel upon that sentence.

“Decay? Interesting to say the least of it all. It is the least to show you respect, Slayer spoke highly enough of you for you to have my own respect.” He says, walking closer to them with his slitted eyes looking at the piles of bones.
“Of course…” she bows slightly. ”you must also know that all that are bitten will die. My plague spreads only through bites, but it will always kill, and so your humans will not be able to save those who have already been bitten. Is that a satisfactory answer?”
It is hard to tell as he has no pupils, but he seems to glance at Nagoriyuki's swords. "Perhaps your approach has intention behind it?"
