"You have me at a disadvantage. You know my name but I don't know yorn. You've got quite the appetite, ain't sustainable."
“Ah, how rude of me to not Introduce myself, Lord Crotalus…” it stands up as its neck snaps back into place.
”I am Magnolia. Magnolia of the Gravediggers. Herionidus Promised us eternal life, and so he gave it to us.” The creature coos, studying her sharp claws.
*forgot to mention, this particular creature has light brown skin and dark, curly hair that reaches her shoulders. She looks almost human, besides the dark eyes and the pointy teeth and the palish skin and stuff*
"Pleasure to make your acquaintance Magnolia. By the looks of things, you ain't gonna leave nothing to be buried when you're done. Will you ever be done?"
“Feeding? Oh, no. I will live for as long as I feed, and I plan to live forever. Just as Herionidus intended.”
"Most things live for as long as they feed. Ain't you able to eat something other than humans though? I'm sure they don't 'ppreciate it."
“Well, we could, but there isn’t any living wildlife left in the area and humans provide us with the best food. We would need to eat many, many more wild animals than we would humans… their blood is simply to die for!”
"What were you before you became the monstrosities you are now?" He says, sand begins to pour out from his eye sockets like a stream of tears.
“Humans. Priests. We dedicated our lives to Herionidus, but once he fell to the swarm, we took his sacred flower and fulfilled his last wishes. We became something more than humans… we became eternal. And we will soon be able to spread our gift in say, fifty to a hundred years. As we grow older we will only grow in power, and the only thing we need to sustain our immortal lives? Food. We are creatures of hunger and gluttony, and to live on, we must feed.”
“Then we shall let them taste a bit of our power, shan’t we?” Savut muses to herself. The eggs on her back crack, unveiling a swarm of flies and mosquitoes. This swarm has the effect of the spell insect plague. She sends it in the direction of the Gravediggers from about a mile away.
The Gravediggers in the area flee from the swarm. Besides two of them, who seem to have stayed relatively close together from the start of the Red Festival. They start to back away as the swarm approaches, but they don’t run. If they become severely damaged then they both run off together. They’re basically just seeing how dangerous the swarm is first.
Does that mean they willingly fail the Constitution saving throw?
Yeah
They each take 20 piercing damage, assuming no resistances or vulnerabilities.
The Gravediggers recoil and back away from the swarm, searching for its source. (Assuming they see Savut) they start rushing towards her, running like dogs on all fours. They don’t exactly seem like they want to attack, sensing her immense power.
The wounds they had sustained from the swarm quickly heal as their skin stitches itself back together.
“So, it seems every patch of this world is claimed by another. I will take this one and make it something worthwhile.” Savut’s tail whips out at the Gravedigger closest to her. Attack: 17 Damage: 17 bludgeoning damage
The Gravedigger recoils as its wounded. Immediately, its wound begins to stitch itself back together again.
”Cease! Foul demon creature, why do you attack us?”
“I am here to take this once-beautiful grove and nurse it back to life, and undo the destruction you have wrought.” Her tail whips back around, a long lance made of reddish wood and silvery scales growing from its end.
“That we have wrought?” One says.
”Our Fault?” Says the other.
”Lies!” They both chant at once.
”we are not demons, we are the gifted of the eternal reveler!” Says the first.
“The swarm took away Humanity’s Hope!” Says the second.
”THEY LEFT NOTHING BUT SCRAPS.” They both yell, claws scraping against rock.
“Feeding? Oh, no. I will live for as long as I feed, and I plan to live forever. Just as Herionidus intended.”
"Most things live for as long as they feed. Ain't you able to eat something other than humans though? I'm sure they don't 'ppreciate it."

"I'll be honest. Your cannibalism sickens me. I won't let you feed off these people like wolves on sheep. I'll be back, and when I do you better hope that you have found a new source to sate your hunger." As he speaks his skeletal firm crumbles into sand that is swept away by a dry wind until there is nothing left.

*See you later.*
Her smile turns to a grimace as a look of concern flits through her eyes, but after a few seconds of considering, she goes back to hunting, ready to deliver the others a message come the morning.
”I am referring to your slaughter of every living thing under the sun.”
“What else were we supposed to do?” Says the first.
”And we don’t kill those in daylight, only those who don’t seek shelter during the night! I find it perfectly fair to hunt those who know we are coming and do not run.” Says the second.
”And we will not disgrace Herionidus’ last gift by wasting it and not sustaining our endless existence! Herionidus was the only one who truly cared for humans, and soon we will spread his gift to all of those who survive.” Says the first.

“By killing them?! You are both raving. How can you make the dead live forever?!” Savut shoulders her lance, preparing to strike but still not sure if these creatures can be defeated.

”ignorance will not get you anywhere in this world.” The second one coos.
”The undead king made sacrifices of his own to let his people live in spirit forever, and now we must make sacrifices as well so that any others at all will receive the gift. What’s better, nobody is blessed by Herionidus or some die and others receive his gift?”

A god should give their people the knowledge and weapons to survive. Whoever you worship never cared for humanity if it is truly his philosophy you espouse. He was defeated either way, which makes him weak and a failure to his faithful. Attack if you dare.”

So assuming that The Godless ones lose and the city is all okay for now, Crotalus (Dark’s god) has threatened the Herionidian Vampires, who are planning on leaving the valley to escape his wrath in a day or two, and they’re gonna try and sneak into the City and pretend to be citizens. Just because it’s the city of your god I should probably tell you.

Alrighty! Get ready for news that several people in the city have suddenly gone missing! And then several more! Hehe vampires are fun
After traveling for miles, Savut has finally found a place unclaimed by any other Will. She finally pauses, as a massive tupelo tree begins to grow. From its roots blooms the swamp, in all its glory. The stagnant water and the rich soil harmoniously forming the perfect habitat. Creatures begin to emerge: frogs and pike and thrips and snakes and rabbits and all variety of life. It is truly beautiful.
