"thats good. your psionic abilities are developed. there shouldnt be voices, though. maybe something with the telepathy? I'll have to fix that." the wind starts up again, and the voices become more controlled. "hows that?"
“Yeah, that’s better!”
"good. one last test. try to move these rocks with your mind." a rumbling arises in the earth, and three pebbles push up from the soil.

Zeon is watching his rat friends, trying to decipher the drawing of a cave.
Mephilia would have gotten a message from her lantern dragon of a new Draconic will that is being brought to the Kingdom of Duality, so she prepares for their arrival.
Volumdremaak is near the damaged tree of Herionidus, considering venturing under its roots.
The rats also draw some sort of fire, and two dotted lines, each connecting the cave and the fire. The first one has an arrow pointing towards the fire, and the other has an arrow pointing towards the cave.
the tree is still screaming, albeit slightly quieter now. It’s roots have begun to heal and strengthen themselves, rooting itself to the ground better to ensure it doesn’t fall.
*Would would be a roll to try and make sense of these pictures?*
With quick action, she would shrink herself and dart into the opening of the roots like a snake made of darkness and smoke.
*yeah, that could work*
she quickly enters the main chamber of the crypt: six stone coffins laid next to each other on an earthen floor, and a raised pedestal, in front of them, on top of which is a simple yet magnificent cherry wood coffin. The coffin seems sacred, it radiates immense power. The roots of the tree dig into the room and give extra structure to the walls. There are three passages connecting to this room.
She notices the bow, and can’t help but now a little in respect, before she pokes her head down the left most passage.
*What should Zeon roll?*
*Insight*
The left passage leads to a room filled with unlit candles, in the center is a small raised platform. On that platform is a decaying human skeleton, some of its bones, especially its fingers and parts of the arms, removed. The missing parts are nowhere to be seen. There is a shelf in the corner of the room, containing many old scrolls, books, and various trinkets and vials of various liquids or stored plants, various flowers included.

They draw the Tupelo tree in the dirt. Then, one of them runs a few feet away. Then a few more. And then a few more feet. Around 80 feet away, they redraw the cave. They also draw the valley and the city for scale. It’s way out in the wastes.
the book about the great plan is bound in a purple leather, stained with blood. On it’s cover is the golden image of a beautiful flower, unlike any they had seen before (mix Lillies of the Vallies with roses and then make them the same color as buttercups, then make it twice as cool)

The next destination is far, far, far, far away but he can feel some sort of presence lying there at the cave. Something evil.
she sees many more pictures depicting the valley of Herionidus and his acts and creations. In fact, almost the entirety of the book is just pictures with little captions. There’s Herionidus growing the cliffs around the valley. There’s Herionidus walking around the world, carving the trenches that would become the river Herionidus. There’s his making of the first firefly, he takes the water’s reflection of starlight and turns it into a beautiful insect that flies around his valley. And there’s numerous pictures about his parties, each one bigger and better than the last. And then, there is suddenly a blank page with only one sentence written on it.
In the silent sky, a single star falls, cascading down to the earth in a trail of violet stardust. There’s something almost melancholy about it, the dying star, as it crashes into the land below. A lone traveling Herionidian is near the crash sight (its the same guy who Tosu talked to about the existence of gods) he rushes over once the dust clears, and backs away a bit seeing the creature. He hides behind a rock while taking out a scroll and sketching them.

She would silently look around, seeing if she notices anything of interest.

She notices a few interesting book titles: The banquet of Travesties; Our Dead King’s Laws and what is Sacred; and the great plan of The Eternal Reveler, to name a few.
It can figure out they are trying to tell Zeon the next thing they need to get: It’s in the cave, and they need to retrieve some flame. The cave also seems to have some sort of gate to hit, now that he’s looking at it close.
They give a dragony salute and take off.

“Hm…alright. So we need a flame from a cave….where is this cave…?” Zeon says curious.
“Great Plan….?”

In the silent sky, a single star falls, cascading down to the earth in a trail of violet stardust. There’s something almost melancholy about it, the dying star, as it crashes into the land below. Upon impact, it kicks up a swirl of dust, leaving a smoking crater showered in sparks. Lying in the center of the impact is a strange creature, humanoid, armored head to toe in shimmering metallic armor, studded with stars. Its head is obscured by a wolfish helmet, its body centaur-like —though instead of a horse, its body seems to be a feathered drake or chimera. Its tail becomes translucent near the end, where only golden speckles are visible. They stand, smoke curling off their armor, taking in their surroundings.

A lone traveling Herionidian is near the crash sight (its the same guy who Tosu talked to about the existence of gods) he rushes over once the dust clears, and backs away a bit seeing the creature. He hides behind a rock while taking out a scroll and sketching them.
Zeon takes the map in, commuting it to memory. “Alright, so in this direction. I believe that is…the wastes…I know little of this place.”
A tendril of shadows would reach out and grab the book.

The rats return to Zeon and start chittering amongst themselves, before returning to examining the branch they chose.
the book has a weird presence to it. Not immensely powerful like the coffin, but just wrong in every sense. It feels dark to the touch, though not exactly evil. The first page of the book is a depiction of Herionidus in his first moments, offering some poor souls the divine fruits of his tree. The painting is in the style of a sort of stained glass window.
Zeon would look off into the distance of their next destination.
Volumdremaak would look through the pages as she continues to explore around. He thousands upon thousands of eyes coming in handy for this little multi-tasking.

THE UNDYING KING’S BURIAL
*yes, there is soooo much lore for Herionidus and it’s all from this thread, it’s awesome :)*
They stand, shaking out some of their feathers. As the man gets closer, he feels a sort of pressure increase on him, as if the pull of gravity were increasing.

He tries to back up a bit, writing down the effects he’s experiencing as well.
”this’ll be a great chapter in my memoir…” he mutters to himself.
