"Tell me, good friend, have you heard of the Godless Ones?"
"Yes, I have heard of these people, and the events that transpired for their creation. Unfortunate how the misguided acts of a single foolish mortal has caused this much division."

*oh and by the way for anyone wondering I think it would be kinda cool if Faltros/the Godless ones tried to kill Herionidus, I already have a plan for if they succeed, and it would make sense since they’re the only Overgod that isn’t Allied/ somehow related to the godless ones*
*locust being allied, Zarznac being created by humans out of fear*

*Yeah lol, Dave caused something really big. And I'm using this lore for my campaign lol.*

*I just realized between me and Gibber we have a trinity of Emotion Wills, Raegus, for peace and comfort, Faltros, for fear and terror, and [Unnamed Eldritch Horror] for loneliness and longing*
*would be cool if we expanded on that because a lot of Wills seem to be manifesting from emotion*

"Yes, after that pillar of fire, I haven't been able to take my mind off of their violent acts. And yes, further division between Wills will only serve to weaken us. We must band together or fall to the Unholy's blade." Raegus reveals his Artifact (that I forgot he could make until now). "I call it Hope." In his hand he holds a small vial, a swirling and sparkling silvery liquid. "I believe it can help us in these trying times. The G.O. know how difficult it would be to kill us gods, and I believe that makes the mortals highly valuable targets to them. This potion can empower them with the ability to fight back, certainly not as effectively as your Clerics though. It also never runs out, watch." He proceeds to pour some out, and the bottle seems to never be any less full.
Dave and the others agree, all present and accounted for, and ready to set off. The wakeup call begins, and the rest of the army begins to mobilize with sudden speed and vigor. Tents come down in mere minutes, armor is donned and weapons are sharpened. The march on Cog's city has resumed, closing in at an alarming rate.

"No, they said before the raid mortals should stay out of the way to not be harmed. They want to go straight for us, the only interaction between mortals being recruiting." He looks at Hope. "What does it do?"
*Is the figure marching too?* Faltros teleports to them. "So, it's raining. The gods will likely be drenched by it when battle comes. That is good, it was one of the few lines we were unsure of so it's good to confirm it."

Herionidus is tending to the deathbloom, a small golden flower within a hollow in the largest tree in his domain, atop a hill.
Isdigerdes floats over, examining the thing. “You care to this unique plants?”
“Oh, hello! And yes, it is a very important plant. It’s my Sacred artifact, to be exact. Along with this tree, it’s my most prized possession.”
“Elaborate.” The tree arcane warforged asks, as a recording device clicks into listening mode
“Well, it makes me more powerful, first of all. And it holds some of my divine essence, so even when I’m gone, my followers will still have something to protect them. Did I mention several people are plotting to kill me? And I’m a god of death! Haha.”
"Well that is fortunate for us. As for what Hope does, it inspires. It fills those who drink of it with peace, comfort, and courage. It also works as a kind of shield, defending the drinker from attacks, though it doesn't render them entirely impervious. Unfortunately we Wills cannot affect each other, so it would not be effective for, say, you or any of the rest of the M.O.O."
*the figure is in a pallanquin, that thing that's carried by four people and someone sits in it, like a carriage without wheels. The figure is entirely obscured by heavy draped cloths flowing around its sides.*
