Crotalus staggers and the air seems to stagger with him. His knees shake and the air warps like the distant heat stricken horizon. The earth churns and cracks as tumbleweeds skitter across the surface, screaming in agony and misery as their maker suffers under the fiendish barrage. But he does not fall.
A twister tears itself into existence with every motion of his body and he gathers them up, a farmer with spinning wind for a harvest. They whirl into the shape of a howling lasso which cracks and cyclones over his head, above his lightning crack stained horns. The weather spun lariat whips at you with the speed of a stinging scorpion and a striking rattler and binds you as hard and as close as starvation.
"The desert don't quit. Not for nothing. Nothing at all can kill a land that's been killed before but it just got back up and walked again." He says in a twistedly calm voice as he yanks the lasso sending heat blisters into your back. He flies forward and digs his venom spurred boot heel into your gut.

*I just realized how similar Foréir and Doctor Doom are. Genius inventors, Master Magicians, Skilled martial combatants, Have a hyper fixation/obsession, Have a god complex, Both seem like mad, psychopathic dictators from an outside perspective, but when you really look and see, you realize that they are caring rulers, willing to do whatever necessary to protect their people.*
