Luci 'watches' Normiah, or more accurately is listening the sound of water. She waves "Hello!"
"Hello there, young one."
"Can I help?" She tries to find her way down.
"Careful up there. And, well, it's kinda dangerous for a kid like you to come on the expedition."
She huffs "I am tough! I survived a knife cut on my arm! Though Sergei healed it for me but I still survived!" She grins.
"There will be much more dangerous things then knife cuts."
"Like what?" She feels her way over.
"Giant beasts of the sea. Not nearly as tough as what I've faced my whole life, but still plenty of potential for you to get hurt, which we don't want."

Orion makes the coocoo thing by twirling his finger next to his head and then continues tickling Lucibelle, this time tossing her onto the bed.
She squeals in happiness again and sits up quickly, clapping her hands.
Suddenly, one of Orion’s fingers falls off his hand. He blankly looks at it.
She hears the noises stop and the sound of metal making a light "'thump'. "Uh oh.. did something bad happen?" She asks.
He shakes his head and leans down to pick it up, as he does, Sergei walks into the room. l‘ve just had a marvelous idea!”
She 'looks' up Sergei's as he walks in. She tilts her head "About what?"
“Echolocation!” He says excitedly. He’s holding a mass of parchment papers.

"And like I said, you might not be tough enough. I don't want an innocent child killed because of my hunting." He looks like he's thinking about the past. (For context, he's been hunting a kraken his whole life-- was killed by the Barnacle recently but that's a different matter. When he first started--he wasn't planning on it being his lifetime career, it just happened to be in the area--the kraken took revenge by killing his village.)
