You should, it's a great game, takes some getting used to though, with things like alternating fighting(ALL THE TIME) and normal damage spilling over. Believe me it took a year to actually figure that out in 40K

Then again, I have a norn emissary that has 16 wounds, a 4+ FNP against mortals, a 4+ invuln, and about 12 total melee attacks with a melta 4 ranged weapon that doubles as a bomb and a character sniper, so i can't really complain.

Anyways, here's a homebrewed T'au Sept I'm working on (Septs are basically subfactions, but no mechanical stuff, just lore and aesthetic). Just a first draft.
Fei'kira Sept
Fei'kira is a tidally locked planet, meaning it stays in a perfect spin and orbit with it's sun so that only one side ever faces it. Fei'kira is a deathly hot desert on one side, and a freezing cold tundra on the other. There is a ring around the center that is the perfect temperature, and due to the planet's orbit, the twilit sky casts eternal half-darkness over the habitable zone. The ground is rich with minerals and metals such as gold, which is a common color the sept uses to display marks of rank. The more gold coloring a Fei'kira sept member bears, the higher their rank. The color most common to their uniform is black, to allow for easier hiding in the eternal dusk of the life-sustaining parts of the planet. Their main combat philosophy relies on a balance between stealth and lightning fast charges, the latter as either a destructive force or a distraction to set up a surprise strike from behind.
