Grimm. A middle aged man who stalks the sewers underneath grimmshire. He believes that he lives to kill the monsters lurking above and bring grimmshire to its former glory. His friend slinker is a (mostly) constant companion in the dark.
Flint??
Hah yeah lol. Grimm is Flint
Who's flint???

You better watch out you better not cry you better not pout I'm telling you why. Murderers are coming to town.
Clearly I need to develop most of my characters lol
Keep in mind that I have my doubts about whether this is as trustworthy with roleplay characters as it is with story characters. However I would say that Flint qualifies. Here are just the first five that stick out to me at first glance, there could be more:
Nice - Flint is a really nice guy.
Funny - He's a silly dude.
Obsessed - With the sewers.
Loved by Friends and Family - Everyone in the taverns loves him.
In Danger - He has Cato hunting him down right?
I'm pretty sure he would have more, these are just the first obvious five and that is all you need.

Flint is Dutch's most famous character first introduced in Yonstore but he has been a part of many of the other ones. He also lives in the sewers like your character.

Flint does not sound too much like Grimm.
Nice - Grimm is nice but pretty dark
Funny - he's funny in the "I'm too serious to be funny" way
Obsessed - with finding a way to kill the monsters
In danger - well he is trying to fight monsters all the time soooo...

Okay I guess I’ll try to do this with my demigod character Caleb.
Courage: He went into like an abyssal entrance to the underworld or something and fought a hellhound to save AJ
Unfair Injury: I don’t know if this exactly counts but his whole frosty aura is just constantly freezing stuff around him, which he can’t control. Oh yeah also childhood Trauma!
Skill: He’s good at sword fighting and ice sculpting.
funny: Yeah he’s funny kinda, I’ll give him like Half a point here
nice: He’s friendly
in danger: yeah, even more so than most halfbloods.
loved by friends and family: AJ and Luna
Hardworking: Well he doesn’t exactly have anything specific going on
obsessed: Will literally risk his life for AJ and Luna, also Anthony sorta. Don’t know if this exactly counts so half a point
i think AJ is a good character, he’s one of my favorites that I’ve made. And for context, he’s from the camp half blood thread and he’s the demigod son of Khione, goddess of snow.
Clearly I need to develop most of my characters lol

I don't know your character well, but I can still ask questions.
So far, it sounds like your character has two out of five traits, obsessed and in danger. What other traits might he have? Is he skilled at what he does? He sounds like he is hardworking. Does he have some unfair injury that the monsters did to him? An unfair injury doesn't have to be a direct malady upon his body, it could be something like they killed his parents, broke his mind, stole his favorite something or other, took away the chance for him to do or have something he wanted, or insulted his mother. Does he have courage?

2 unfair injury - yeah they killed his brother
3 courage - he would take the blow for any of his friends and he will face down any beast

You better watch out you better not cry you better not pout I'm telling you why. Murderers are coming to town.
1. Courage: literally leaping into glorious combat almost constantly and defending the crew of the Bloody Barnacle from the high seas and it's dangers
2. Unfair Injury: lost his previous crew after being named captain, blames himself, which it kinda is his fault, but he's way too hard on himself about it
3. Skill: smashing wee beasties left and right with his powerful combination of divine power and sorcerous magic, storm magic for the win!
4. Funny: no.
5. Nice: always trying to help around the ship and pull his weight on the Barnacle, kind
6. In Danger: maybe...? I mean he's always out on the high seas and fighting monsters, so... half credit?
7. Loved by Friends and Family: I mean, from how it's going people seem to like Jack, but he has his overprotective moments. He's even had an offer to join the crew officially, I'd say this is a yes
8. Hardworking: (see: Nice)
9. Obsessed: ehhh, not really, maybe about his old crew and blaming himself? Half credit again
Final score: 7

Idk I'm just a guy ig
I like Warlocks
I like guitars (coming up on my fifth year of playing!)
I want to be a musician/stay-at-home dad when I grow up
Recently obsessing over Warhammer 40k, specifically the T’au empire
I mentioned earlier that the Man in Black, Wesley, from the Princess Bride might possibly be the perfect character.
Courage: Definitely. He is a courageous man.
An Unfair Injury: He was tortured to death for loving the wrong girl and was partially paralyzed for a while after that.
Skill: He beat the Spaniard, the Giant, and the Sicilian, each at their own games. He is extremely skilled.
Funny: He has plenty of smart quips and funny comments. Plus he foretells the Pandemic.
Nice: He is a nice guy, conversing quite pleasantly with his opponents and letting them live if he believes them to be good men.
In Danger: He is in constant danger.
Loved by Friends and Family: Buttercup loves him and so do the Spaniard and the Giant I'd say.
Hardworking: He sure had to work hard to get as good as he is. He is definitely hardworking.
Obsessed: While he may not appear so on first glance, this might be his strongest attribute. His obsession is his love for Buttercup. Everything he ever did was to be with her. It is what the whole story is about. Love is obsession.
There you have it. As far as I can see, he has all nine attributes.

I would ask y’all to rate one of my characters... but I don’t think most people know any of my characters that well.
Yeah, I have the same problem. Honestly most people here probably do. I don't think I could use this for most characters I know about. Most role playing doesn't get very deep. I really intended this for people to examine their own characters because they would know all the information about their characters.

Yeah, I suppose he does qualify! Which kinda makes sense- he's certainly an enjoyable character to have played.
