After a couple more minutes, the group finally reaches the source of the reflecting lights. Just as Buttons guessed, it’s water. A stream, in fact. There is no oasis however. The small creek runs from up and past the dunes. Buttons leaps off his horse excitedly. “IT IS WATER! IT REALLY IS!”

Karthør looks shocked. So shocked he can't move. But he suddenly masters himself, then lunges for a canteen hidden within his shirt, fumbling with the cap as he tries to remove it. He tips it over, and it pours out around 6 quarts of dirty, dusty water. He dips it in the stream and begins to fill it.
