*so to start fighting, we both roll initiative. I’m assuming you know how to roll dice on DDB, so it’s just a d20+ your dexterity modifier. Whoever rolls higher goes first. Then you take your turn which consists of one action, one bonus action, and movement. You can move up to your speed at any time on your turn, but you don’t have to all at once. As an action you can interact with objects, attack and do other stuff like spells or use abilities that cost actions. Let’s say you are attacking, you would format it like this. This will also be what Graham is doing on his turn*

*the first roll determines if it hits. If it gets higher than your armor class, it hits and you take the damage for the second roll. You can only use bonus actions if you have a specific ability that uses them, not for whatever you want. I just realized that you might already know the rules of regular dnd combat so I might have just typed this all out for nothing, anyways, Leo’s turn and tell me if I missed anything that you need to know! And actions can also be used for stuff like throwing objects and stuff, so you can be creative*

*First you roll a d20 to determine if you actually hit the opponent. If you roll higher than their “Armor Class”, you get to hit them. Then you roll for damage. Different weapons do different damage. An unarmed strike does 1d4.*

*open you sheet and choose the weapon you attack with. Then choose the combat option for the dice roller. Choose your damage dive type then add you to hit and damage modifier.*

He closes the fifteen feet (I feel like I remember the average distance for travel is 30 feet without dashing so I think I’m safe) and goes to kick Graham in the shins again

Graham yelps and falls to the ground, before slowly getting back up and punching Leo in the chest. This punch has quite a bit more power to it, like it was three hits instead of one, but all at once.
