the doll very clearly isn’t very experienced with having actual conversations, and whatever is puppeteering it is probably pretty mad at it, considering the “look” on the doll’s face (only its eyes and mouth can move, but they’re pretty expressive.).
also, something very suspicious is going on here, and she can guess that whatever the snowman is, it is here, and it is in fact not dead.
