Hi sharks guys, just wanted to pitch a thread idea I've got to a wider audience. I first planned it on the Thread Thread but thought I'd bring the idea here too since I don't want to make it and then have it immediately die, I want to build up some players first (TheFriendlyArchfey has already said they love the idea and will join)
Basically, it's a RP, combat and story based thread that travels through the time periods, starting in prehistoric times and going all the way to the modern age eventually. I originally got this idea because on the Thread Thread, a lot of people were saying that there's been a sharp decrease in pre-modern taverns and threads in general, and this thread is a solution for this. Also, the characters you would play throughout the ages would form a lineage, so you would play a descendant of your previous character whenever the thread progresses to the next time period, which would be whenever 1. The players are comfortable or 2. Whenever the thread dies and needs more attention.
My final selling point is that this thread would NOT be historically accurate at all. You can do whatever you want, if you wanna ride dinosaurs even though they're meant to be extinct, go for it, if you wanna play a medieval knight that wields a giant spoon, go for it. Although there's no magic, the world is your oyster when it comes to whatever tomfoolery you wanna get up to.
